Hape ist ein deutscher Hersteller von hochwertigem, gesundheitlich unbedenklichem Spielzeug, der ursprünglich Kindergärten beliefert hat und inzwischen weltweit aktiv ist. Mit dem Tüftler Werkzeugkasten für MINT-Aktivitäten im Kindergarten kommt ein hochwertig und sauber verarbeiteter Werkzeugkasten, dessen Abdeckplatte senkrecht aufgestellt wird und als Grundplatte für die 6 möglichen Versuche dient. Die Platte ist in den Nuten leichtgängig zu bewegen und stabil. Alle weiteren Teile sind sauber gearbeitet und für Kinderhände gedacht. Die Holzteile sind in Farben auf Wasserbasis lackiert. Die übersichtliche Anleitung vermittelt Kindern, wie Material für einen Versuch ausgewählt und zurechtgelegt wird. Zurzeit sind 7 Sets zum Thema Tüftler lieferbar. Die Werkbank löst bei mir zwar leuchtende Augen aus, ist wie die gesamte Produkt-Reihe jedoch eher für die Arbeit im Kindergarten sinnvoll. Der Einsatz der Versuche in Kindergruppen ist ab 4 Jahren möglich, setzt jedoch u. a. voraus, dass einige der Kinder aus Lochleisten in drei Längen die in der Anleitung geforderte Länge heraussuchen können. Will man den Werkzeugkasten verschenken, sollte man sich fragen, welche der Versuche man selbst anleiten und in einen größeren Zusammenhang stellen kann. Bei den laufenden Bildern im Zoetrop z. B. würde ich erst einige Vorbereitungszeit zum Thema Film brauchen. In eine Aktionswoche passt das Thema schon besser. Statt der Zipp-Off-Beutel wäre ein Stoffbeutel für Schrauben und Kleinteile sinnvoll. Ein sauber verarbeitetes, kindgerechtes Set, das eher für die Arbeit im Kindergarten gedacht ist.

The product itself is well made & it nicely packs up to be carried elsewhere. I find it incredibly expensive for it's limited use. I think it only allows for 12 very simple contraptions to be built. Where it is beneficial is in providing ideas to implement a simple system, so if you struggle with constructing a few rods and 2 gears to have a hand move back & forth, your family may find this beneficial. For a similar outcome of function, I would rather purchase a Klutz Lego book or something like this.

I bought this when it was £20 on Amazon but returned and bought hape E3028 and E3031 instead. Like all hape products I am sure the quality is super (hence the 4 star review) but I am unhappy about two things - (1) Amazon is trying to really milk the COVID pandemic and has increased the prices of lots of items it sells which I think is naughty. (2) even though I have two other varieties of these hape tool toys, I feel for the price you get limited amount of material and if you child is like mine and loves to make clever creative contraptions, you will need to buy more of these to increase the options of what all can be made and also so 2 children can play without killing each other.

Love love love! Our kids build and play for at least an hour at a time. The great thing is they go back for more. It’s not a boring toy that they get bored of and never return

This was a Christmas gift to my 5yr old daughter who loves to build things. It was a big hit with her! She was able to look at the pictures to figure out how to build a couple of things. The pieces are big enough where it's not difficult to hold them and they are plastic so no metal parts. It seems pretty durable too because she can be rough on her toys. A great gift!
