Mobile phone camera technology has now come so far that, unless you’re a photography buff, it’s hard to justify the time, effort, and expense of a dedicated camera for the average family. That’s not a knock on those who are passionate about high-quality photography equipment. I’m just saying that millions of us get by on our cell phone cameras exclusively. We’re one demographic where this product makes total sense and fulfills a legitimate need. One thing my family does every Christmas is dress up in matching pajamas (even the dog) and take some pictures sitting in front of the Christmas tree. I can still picture myself last Christmas stacking boxes and books to get my phone precarious perched at just the right height. The tripod is ideal for many types of shots too. On a recent family camping trip, I thought it would be cool to have a timelapse of the entire setup. The correct settings on my phone, sitting atop this tripod delivered great results. The selfie stick/mobile tripod can definitely accommodate large cell phones as I’ve been using the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra with mine. Yet another demographic that would find this product incredibly useful is content creators & and influencers. My wife’s side hustle is being a pampered chef associate. This means that she often films products & and cooking demos. She mentioned that she may even buy another tripod and always capture two angles (one with her phone and one with mine). After trying out more than a dozen selfie sticks with tripod options, I choose this Atumtek for my longer needs, and the Atumtek Selfie Stick Pro (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07TV5BCVW) for shorter needs. When collapsed, this selfie stick isn't small - better for carrying in a backpack or cargo pants/shorts with very deep leg pockets, but not good for a purse or pants/jacket pocket. The quality is very good - I have no concerns about separation of the uppermost arm extension from the device holder. USB-C charging of the remote means not having to worry about batteries. As a tripod, it's fairly solid, and should work in all conditions but a strong wind. The textured/shaped grip makes it easier to hold, which may be important for some people when it's at full extension.

The selfie stick is so worth the money I bought two, and got my friend group on board too. The stick is so well built and so sturdy I'm glad that I took the recommendation of this YouTuber that told me about it. The height is adjustable and you can use it as a tripod for videos or as a handheld selfie stick as well. The remote control is by far my favorite feature it makes getting your content super easy especially when you don't have any help. The stick opens and closes smoothly no jerking no need to yank it hard to get it to come out or extend. It's just seamless to operate and glades to your desired height. Lastly the little phone holder is A1 I trust it enough to use it on our yacht party trips. It holds your phone very securely and still opens and adjusts smoothly to your desired height without removing the phone. I take it everywhere and I use it for all types of content and again the remote that connects to your phone via Bluetooth and does need to be charged often. I want to say I can go a month or two before I have to charge my remote. If you're looking for a smooth, sturdy, easy to use, handsfree selfie stick to capture all of your content this is the one for you friend.

I have bought many selfie sticks and tripods over the years for traveling but this one is my absolute favorite!!! I took it to Europe with me this Spring and it worked wonders. First of all, it is compact and easy to pack into my backpack or my purse compared to my other tripods. It's pretty sturdy at 50" and a little wind doesn't knock it over. However, some of my family members are taller and the monuments I wanted to capture were also taller... so 50" didn't cut it and I wish I got the 65" one. Secondly, it DOES do portrait mode, you just need to spend a little time figuring that out (bending the phone holder part and twisting it the right way). It's really not hard once you get it. However, I only found this out AFTER my trip to Europe which I regret because there are so many photos I wish I took in portrait mode but didn't know I could. Thirdly, the Bluetooth paired well with my iPhone Pro 13. I turned the remote on/off and it would auto-pair with my phone making it super easy to set up the selfie stick or tripod and snap a quick photo here and there. I have so many beautiful pics of my family at the leaning tower of Pisa, the Eiffel tower, and even the Coliseum because of this one tool. Lastly, beware of the phone holder part -- it can pinch your fingers. The instructions warn you of this as well and you don't really know what it's talking about until you do it to yourself. Once you get the hang of how to put your phone in and how to handle pulling the selfie stick out, it's not a big deal. You just need to practice a few times and notice where your fingers are when you're closing the selfie stick/tripod.
