Frost King CF1 "No Itch" Natural Cotton Multi-Purpose Insulation, 16 x 1 x 48-Inch

Works great

I used these to line the duct coming in to my room, to reduce sound coming in from housemates. Used two layers of this, plus a couple of rolled-up towels for support / gap-filling (towels have similar sound absorption). Works great - made a huge difference. Kept airflow the same (or better) by replacing the vent with a new one with a built-in fan. Two caveats: 1.) It says it's 1 inch thick, but it's really about 1/2 inch thick. 2.) It has a smell that doesn't go away for over a week. It's not a bad smell, and they claim it doesn't emit any harmful VOCs, but it was weird while it lasted.

Difficult to cut but durable insulation

Great durability heat isolation easy to cut and awesome value for the money.

I wanted to try this cotton insulation for a home speaker cabinet. I like the idea of not dealing with fiberglass. It cut fairly easily and installed nicely. I feel better knowing I used cotton instead of itchy, & possible potential health problems related to fiberglass

Although it is pretty thin, I was ok with that because I planned to fold it a few times and use it as insulation for my air conditioner, inside the cover, during the winter months to keep the cold from getting in the house. It helped a little - but not too much. I ended up adding rigid foam insulation - which helped a bit better. I did like that it was easy to cut and use - without any itch factor; it feels like felt. I ended up using it as padding for a recliner, and it was fine for that.

This is perfect for cushioning dining chair seats under the outer covering. Easy to work with

This is exactly as advertised. I would recommend this insulation if you want a good alternative to the fiberglass kind. Your don't need any special PPE to use it which is nice.

Was looking for a great quality insulation not too big just to fill in some small space in-between the walls and hole made for hood extractor fan area.

Really worked well as replacement for the damaged insulation on our built in dishwashers. It took two full packages to do our dishwasher. Great sound dampening as well.
