Enough comments to validate the quality of this fragrance, so I know I don't need to offer that - this stuff is incredible, especially for the price. What I will offer is that people often complain about performance, Look, you just need to follow this with EVERY fragrance you buy: 1. After purchase, let it macerate for 3 to 6 months. It blends over time and gets stronger. All fragrances do this. Don't use the product until you've let it age. Unless you normally eat green bananas like an idiot, I suppose. 2. Quit spraying it on your skin! Everyone is different but everyone's skin ultimately breaks down things on the skin and absorbs and dilutes it with skin oils, perspiration, etc. Instead, spray ALL fragrances on your clothing and in your hair and enjoy being shocked at how long fragrance last when you do this. No need for "boosters" like ambroxan or ISO-E Super. Just spray the stuff on anything OTHER than skin and poof - instant performance and longevity. This even works with weaker frarances, such as Dolce & Gabanna's The One EDP, which is notorious for being a poor performer - which I can make last all day with this technique. Be smart and quit wasting this precious stuff on your skin (unless someone is about to tear your clothes off - then skin might make sense in that case). Quit wasting all that money and start really enjoying your fragrances without going through tons of it or resorting to largely worthless boosting techniques that are more myth than fact. You will surely will get the value for money. It may take a brief dry down to get that YSL Tuxedo scent. The longevity is there at about 6-8 hours on the skin and maybe longer depending on the temperature. As for the scent. Think woody notes, nutmeg. You'll get patchouli, sandlewood, cacao, and Tonka bean. The bottom and final dry down is a warm vanilla and vetiver. I like clean scents but wanted to try something different. The sweetness is welcoming. The presentation is exquisite and feels fancy just like the smell. The atomizer is amazing and no bottle leakage. Buy with confidence.

Even though it is labeled as an Eau de Parfum (EDP)—which usually means a higher concentration of oils—the longevity is highly disappointing. It projects nicely for the first hour, but it quickly drops to a faint skin scent shortly after and completely disappears within three to four hours. You almost have to heavily overspray your clothes just to make it last through an evening event.The presentation is stunning, featuring a heavy, high-quality bottle and a solid cap that looks great on a dresser. The atomizer works well, giving a broad and fine mist rather than a direct stream.If you don't mind carrying a small travel decanter to reapply it throughout the day, the actual smell is fantastic and gets plenty of compliments. However, if you expect an EDP to naturally last through a standard work day or a long night out, the poor performance makes it frustrating.
