Finally something that works for my sensitive skin!
I recently had a shave biopsy on my face and was having difficulty with keeping a dressing on due to adhesive irritaring my skin and/or constantly coming off due to the proximity to my mouth, exposing my wound to air. This tape is fairly comfortable and breathable. I can forget it's there if I'm staying occupied. The tan color blends in surprisingly well with my fair skin. I am down to having to change it twice a day instead of a dozen times a day, so I am pretty happy with that. Adhesion is pretty strong, and it does leave a slight sticky residue on my skin, which I can easily clean off with hydrating toner (Cerave). If you get it wet, it will crinkle up and become stiff, needing a change. At about $2 a roll, it's a pretty good deal. I've bought a ton of stuff trying to keep my sanity with this wound on my face, including various ointments, multiple types of spot bandages, gauze, pads, silicone tape, cutting up various sensitive skin and plastic-free eco bandages, medical cloth tape, etc etc. I have a sensitivity to plastics and petroleum-based products, acrylic adhesives, polyesters, etc. that often causes me painful blisters, rashes, and acne, as well as several allergies to ingredients commonly in ointments. Aquaphor, petrolatum, Neosporin, and Welly petroleum free antibiotic ointment all caused itching with painful whiteheads around my wound. So I finally found something that works: pure lanolin applied to calcium alginate dressing and this tape over top. The lanolin is Medela brand and the alginate dressing is Medway Medvance 1x12" rope, cut down to size with clean scissors. All purchased on Amazon. Vanicream cleanser is very gentle on my face (wash with dressing on & change after) and saline wound wash is pretty gentle for cleaning the wound itself if necessary. What sort of worked: Johnson&Johnson sports tape: nice, rubber based adhesive, very comfortable to remove with very little residue, but large sized tape was difficult to cut to size, it's quick thick and bright white Nexcare 4 inch steristrips, cut in half: extremely breathable and comfortable, but width was just too short to cover a pad fitting my wound. Very strong adhesion, difficult to remove but left no residue. Bright white, striped, and noticeable Silicone tape: very comfortable when first applied, but I would quickly sweat under the tape, causing itching

Good for the price
I’m really impressed with this 3M Micropore Tan Surgical Tape. I’ve used a lot of different medical tapes, and this one is definitely a favorite because the tan color blends in so much better than the bright white versions. It has a great balance of being breathable and gentle on the skin while still staying securely in place. I used it for a small wound that needed daily dressing changes, and it didn't leave that sticky, painful residue or irritate my skin when I peeled it off. Plus, it's easy to tear by hand, so you don't have to go hunting for scissors every time. If you have sensitive skin or just want something a bit more discreet for your first aid kit, this 2-roll pack is a solid value.

Best tape post rhinoplasty
Love these tape for my post rhinoplasty. No smell. Good quality, durable doesn’t fall despite of having a mega oily nose and very thick skin. The adhesion is strong so u do need an oil based or make removed, or coconut oil to help take it off. Despite this I find it to be the best tape.

Diy magnet nose strips
This was the 3rd medical tape I got and it was the best quality for a fraction of the cost as the others and this one comes with 2. I use these to diy my own magnet nose strips so I can breathe at night. I wash my face, combine two strips together and then add the little magnet and stick it on. It stays all night and no itching, sweating, or falling off. It does leave a bit of residue but not as much as the official brand of magnetic nose strips and you literally save so much $$$!! In the morning when I remove the strips, I apply a bit of body oil to my nose and then wash my face again.

Great for mouth (snore) tape, but not gentle.
This tape works for mouth tape (breathing thru mouth/snoring) but it is NOT gentle. I have to use an oil (like caster) to get it off in the morning. Without oil, it has torn bits of my chin skin off.

Same as in my surgeons office
Same tape my plastic surgeon used to help tape and support my eye after having skin cancer surgery. No sticky residue, holds amazingly well for what I need it for, lifting up my drooping eye while waiting for my next (hopefully last) surgery. Flesh color really blends.

Don’t use if you had a rhinoplasty!
I had a rhinoplasty 5 weeks ago and I ran out of the tape my surgeon sent me home with after my procedure. I ordered this to save me a trip to my surgeons office, it looks almost exactly like the one I had so I thought it was just as good. It’s absolutely not. The adhesive is so minimal that it starts coming up 2 hours after putting it on. The last few mornings I’ve woken up and the edges around the tip and bridge of my nose were lifted up completely off my skin. My swelling is still really bad on my tip and now I need to tape my bridge 3x more than the rest of my nose because my dorsal hump is trying to grow back because this tape is so bad. I didn’t think that the dorsal hump could grow back! Obviously I was very upset and talked to my surgeon and he said it’s not uncommon for that to happen, so now I need to put 3 pieces of tape on my dorsal hump instead of one like the rest of my nose and press down on it throughout the day to smooth it back out and prevent my hump from growing back during the healing stage. Don’t buy this if you had a rhinoplasty! Just get tape from your surgeon or you could mess up your rhinoplasty and then all the healing and downtime and money spent on the surgery could have been for nothing and you don’t want to have to have another rhinoplasty to fix your first rhinoplasty! Especially over something as small as buying cheap tape online instead of asking your surgeon for some.

Love this tape. Allows skin to breathe and if putting on your face, which I do, is much less noticeable. Used it for years!

I ordered this tape to use after a rhinoplasty procedure and wanted something to use over my bridge at night. I appreciate how it is a nude colour, as the other 3M tape I was given from the surgical clinic was white and stood out, for example, I can take my kid to the bus stop with this tape on and it's not as noticeable. This tape also has a good hold, be prepared to clean up the residue it leaves behind, rubbing alcohol works best, but as I sensitive skin and don't want to use that everyday, I have also been using some micellar water on a cotton pad and rubbing it off that way, I also use tweezers to pull of any residue.
