I bought this turtle food for my baby turtle and I’m really happy with it. The size of the pellets is perfect for small turtles, and my turtle started eating it right away. I like that it has added calcium and vitamins, which are important for shell growth. It doesn’t make the water very dirty if you don’t overfeed, and the quality seems much better compared to other brands I’ve tried. My turtle is active, eats well, and looks healthy. Definitely recommend this food for baby turtles!

I have a Mississippi map turtle that I had since June of last year, and ever since I got him he has been picky with every turtle pellet brand as well as eating his vegetables. I was only able to get him to eat earth worms and freeze dried insects and blood worms that I had to dust with vitamins every two days or else he would get a vitamin A deficiency. I’ve tried a lot of types of pellets like crushed up Mazuri, Zoo med hatchling formula, and ReptoMin and he would never ever eat them, but with this food it was different, he took to eating it quickly and I am so proud and overjoyed, he has been eating this good for awhile now and he has been looking much happier and healthier and I don’t have to worry about dusting his food so often because this stuff actually has the nutrients that stopes him for having his on and off vitamin A deficiency. I believed this also got him open into eating his vegetables, I’ve been trying to get him to eat vegetables since he was a tiny hatchling and he didn’t even take a bite until I got him onto this food, now not only does he eat these amazing turtle pellets but he also eats his carrots and romaine lettuce. I wish I could’ve found this food sooner for my Mississippi map turtle,but luckily I found this food in time for my newest pet turtle who is just a tiny Florida red belly cooter, they also very loves this food. This is perfect for smaller turtles and is definitely worth the money, I also love the small spoon it comes with, makes it easier to give them the right amount of food without going overboard with the food. I will buy this again whenever my current bottle runs out.

It seems like a really good quality and a good value for the money. My baby turtle has no problem chewing it like he does his pallets that have to soften up.. I just know that the plot he has is very healthy for him and that’s what the guy at the pet store originally gave me when he was a hatchling, but sometimes he was shy away from them and prefer these. I like them better because he can swallow them hole instead of chewing up the pellets that dropped to the bottom of the tank and make a mess a lot quicker.
