I imagine if I wanted to use it on my own bed that I would probably enjoy it as much as he does
Soft, thick, warm. Higher quality than I expected for the price. I got this for my dog to use on the concrete floor of a kennel and it serves its purpose for me - plenty of padding to protect his joints when folded a few times, but no stuffing for him to pull out. I imagine if I wanted to use it on my own bed that I would probably enjoy it as much as he does. Already washed once and still in good shape without fading. I get the impression this will probably last for awhile.

Very heavy
This blanket is nice and soft, however, it is very heavy. If you don’t like to be too warm don’t order it unless you live in a northern state.
