With as much as I enjoy cooking having a good peeler is essential. I searched around quite a bit for this one and I am very happy with it, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good vegetable peeler. The price was good. The material is solid and there’s a few different ways you can use it which also makes it nice

The first thing I did when this arrived was to sacrifice a carrot for my salad. The peeler worked just fine, producing extremely fine and slender long shreds. It seemed very sturdy; a lot more hefty than say, using one of those Y peelers. I did find that once I finished it was a little annoying to poke the remaining shred-pieces out of the sharp part of the peeler, but they provide a little cleaning brush to do that, which was somewhat helpful. Then I tossed it in the dishwasher. Easy. Also, it must be said that to get the most vegetable shreds, you really need to set the veggie down on the counter and support the back of it. Further, you will lose a bit of the vegetable once it gets too thin or there is not enough at at least one end to safely hold on to it and not julienne your fingers. This is a nifty little thing. I would use it as a stocking stuffer, to to tie to a wedding shower gift in a heartbeat.

I bought a food processor in part to julienne veggies, but discovered it doesn’t really do it, so turned to this gadget. It works great and fast. My only complaint is that I would have preferred my julienned veggies to be a bit thicker. This tool's julienneds are almost paper thin. The peeler is also top notch.

I dont think the shredder part works very well. I can't seem to hold a carrot still enough to shred it.

I saw this kitchen gadget on Kiki Foodies' Instagram account and wanted this. I needed something that shredded without me having to hoist my 13-cup Cuisinart out. This works very well and does carrots and other things that are stiff pretty well. It is a very sturdy and strong, well-made tool. One side does shredding and the other side does thin slices, so this is great, too. I've had many different shredding devices, including mandolin types and not liked them except for my Cuisinart. But that thing is so big and bulky and I don't want to clean all those parts unless I'm doing A LOT of shredding. This little tool is handy for just a little bit of shredding. The blades are sharp, so be sure to keep your fingers out of the way.

Saved us plenty of time on an 18 ingredient Thai salad we made. Perfect on carrots, squash and cucumber. Sturdy device that appears to be built to last. Well worth the time it will save you. May be a bit difficult to clean but the brush helps and a quick rinse after using helps. Much easier to clean than a mandolin or food processor.

I am really glad I decided to order this item. It arrived quickly and was packaged well, which is always a nice start. The quality is excellent, especially considering the very reasonable price point. It functions exactly as described and has already proven to be quite useful in my daily routine. If you're on the fence about this purchase, I'd say go for it. You won't be disappointed.
