Worth the price.
Works well, simple to use, app integrates with most health and exercise specific apps. I use this with Specilized Bike app and it syncs effortlessly. Recharging is easy and charge lasts quite a while.

Great heart rate monitor
This is a great optical heart rate monitor. It connected easily with my existing Polar Beat app and works flawlessly. I've tried two other optical HRM and this is the only one that actually worked. And it was inexpensive!

Happy with it for running
I bought the 807 for low HR/MAF/zone 2 running and after a slight learning curve, I'm finding it useful, reliable, and a good value. I've found the best place to wear it is on my upper forearm near my elbow where it stays put without having to tighten the band too much. I use it with Mapmyrun on my phone, and the Coospo seems responsive to my changes in effort with little or no lag in updating my heart rate. I tested it against a finger pulse oximeter and my resting pulse readings were within a beat of each other. The app automatically calculates HR zones based on a max heart rate that you select. This allows me to set the max HR where the LED changes from green to yellow at my MAF HR and I can ease up if the LED turns yellow. I have no problem seeing the LED in most outdoor conditions, but on a very bright noon-time run I needed to shade the LED with my free hand to see it. Battery life is good for my needs. I usually run for an hour or two at a time 5 or 6 days per week and I charge the device less than once a week. On my last run, the battery went from 46 to 34 percent in 2 hours. There are a few features that could be improved to get a full 5 star rating: 1 - the app would be better if you could define your own zones. The app generates zones between ~14 to ~20 bpm wide, whereas I would rather have my target zone be 10bpm or sometimes only 5bpm wide. Also, the app is a little creepy in that you need to register via email but it does synch your preferences and history over multiple devices. 2 - the LED flashes too slowly, so if I'm running along and want to glance at the color, it can take 5 strides of staring at the device before the LED lights up. I would rather just glance for half a second than have to stare and wait- especially when trail running. 3 - the green and yellow LED are very similar in color so they can be a bit hard to distinguish, but over time I think I'm getting better at telling them apart. The yellow looks more like a paler green to me. I think items 1 and 2 could be fixed with app and firmware updates. If Coospo fixes them, I'm happy to come back and revise the rating to 5 stars. Thanks for reading and happy exercising!

Nice and sleek looking but that is not what I bought it for
No problems in connecting to the app and getting readings. The problem is, the readings are insanely inaccurate. Charged it to a solid green loaded the app and configured it with my info and took it for a walk for about 30 minutes. It quickly started going into an aerobic state and 15 minutes into my walk I was in the red, which is 90 to 100 percent of my max heart rate. A few minutes later it started to buzz when I check the app on the phone it was reporting 175 beats per minute. Meanwhile, I feel fine and can't even feel my heart is beating. Out of curiosity, to make sure I am not having a heart attack I put on my Samsung watch and headed out again for the same route. The highest I ever managed to register was 120 beats per minute. Disappointing. I could understand a little off but 50 beats off per minute is too much. I left it on my arm overnight paired with my phone. Now, I know my typical oxygen/heartbeat pattern from multiple other devices. It regularly and throughout the night showed a minimum of a 25-to 30 beats over what my comparison sensor detected. In conclusion, as much as I like the idea of a light indicator reporting the range I am at but the amount of inaccuracy in completely unacceptable. Not recommended!..

Does the job, just be prepared to have to finesse it a little bit.
Edit: This unit died 2 days after I wrote the review. Did I order the same one again? Sure did. Two years with heat and sweat, and it sure has been dependable. I'm also happy to see they now give you 2 bands so they must have been made aware of the Velcro issues. It uses the same charger as I had before so that's great to have an extra charger. I did look at other arm monitor options but none of them had the same bang for the buck as this one. So in 2 years, I'll buy it again. Two years is pretty good. My Wahoos lasted maybe 6 months and I had to play with them to get them to work. Wahoo customer service was great but the product was not great. This unit is indeed great. I have had this unit for about a year and a half now. It does work better than the Wahoo did . The Wahoo, I used to have to clean the contacts all the time. I have cleaned the contacts on this unit maybe once and it just keeps working. Drawbacks though...it's a weird charging system and you have to have the magnets lined up exactly perfectly. There's nothing that clicks in. Also the velcro started giving way pretty quickly. It's a very weak type of velcro and it will sometimes come loose while I am riding. But for the money it's pretty decent. Would I get it again? Yes. I created a little charging area where I know the magnet will meet the contact on the back of the unit, and I will use another velcro strap around it if I have to. I have done three hour rides and it stays charged. It is also very accurate because I have the same readings on my Samsung watch 7.

HW 807 Arm Band
Arrived when promised. Works Great with my recumbent trike GPS computer, Trike computer even reads out battery level of the HW807. Much easier to use than chest strap. Now I have one for trike at home and trike at vacation home. Also the strap on the HW807 is much longer than on the one on HW9 I returned.

Coospo has no app for runners. The official app is coospo rider which is only for cyclists. You need to use a different app named hearttool as per guidelines given in the product details. This app is very average. Sometimes it records data, other times it completely missed the data. Not very useful.
