Perfect mouse but need time if you switch from Windows mouse
The mouse is beautiful. It came 80% charged in the original packaging. Connected to my MacBook Pro M1 in 20 seconds. Everything works just fine - like all Apple products. This is my first mouse from the Apple, before that I used a bigger x7 mouse. I won't say it's hard to get used to it, but it's definitely not familiar. I recommend downloading this application BETTER TOUCH TOOL, yes, it's paid, but it will help you put additional functions on your mouse (as you press the wheel)

Good piece of kit
I recently acquired a MacBook through work and needed a mouse. At the time of purchase it was the best price available. They are expensive but its the usual high quality Apple kit. The mouse works well and holds its charge for a long time.

I couldn't work without one
These aren't cheap, but after you've used one for a bit they make a normal mouse seem like a joke. The best thing is the ability to scroll sideways as well as vertically like a trackpad, which is indispensable for graphics apps. You can also configure multi-touch gestures just like a touch-pad. The built in battery charges by USB-C and lasts for weeks.

Felt a bit sluggish at first compared to a Windows mouse
Good bits first: Looks snazzy, has a nice feel of quality and weight, and it is very portable compared to the more ergonomic types of mice. It connects very easily with no fuss at all. I love the convenience of being able to use gestures. Essentially about 60% of the mouse is a big sensor. There's no problem with doing left click or right click, and you don't need a wheely button either. Not so good bits: It arrived completely power-dead. Usually devices arrive with some partial charge allowing you to use it straight out of the box, and charge it as you go along. Having the charging port at the bottom of the mouse is definitely a bit crap. I was also a bit shocked at how sluggish the tracking speed was even though in settings it was set to max. Online I found a fix that allows you to alter the max tracking speed using the terminal app. Just a copy and paste one line fix. Now it tracks fine. Last minor gripe, I wish I could do the pinch motion on the mouse, instead you have to use their double tap "smart" zoom, which doesn't allow for personal customized zoom preference.

Well Worth The Price For What It Brings to iPad Pro
I bought the Magic Mouse 2 to work with my iPad Pro M1 12.9. Wish I’d done it years ago. What a difference it makes to the stability of the iPad: particularly in using it for writing in Pages, Word etc. There are a few almost hidden customised options within various places in ‘Settings’ and be sure to add the ‘right-click’ or ‘left-click’ options as it makes a massive difference to the options that are available to edit documents etc and in overall use of the mouse and the ipad. Yes, it’s admittedly a bit on the pricey side: but it works a treat and turns the whole iPad experience up a few notches. It’s also a thing of beauty to look and hold. Made out of aluminium and glass (top surface) the design is faultless and made to handle beautifully. Highly recommend.

Very good
Although i love the track pad, this does make some tasks that much easier. Looks great too.

I always been a touchpad person, but needed a mouse and after I done my research I decided to try out the Magic Mouse. I love it, it combines a function of a mouse and a trackpad into one. I was worried as people said it is not ergonomic, however, I find no problem using it, of course you can not rest your palm on it, but as I was coming from a trackpad I never got used to that. I find the battery charging also not an issue, as it lasts super long between charging, you literally can go weeks or even months without charging. Yes, you have to flip it upside down to charge it, and yes, you can not use it in the meantime, however, you need to do this so rarely that even if you bad at planning you can make it work. The touch pad just works, have a super nice feel to it. It always knows when you want to right click, and when you want to left click, scrolling works like it should, you can even use it to scroll sideways. If you want, you can customise the gestures to your liking.
