May be one of the nicest frames I have ever purchased. Beautiful, well made and sturdy, I purchased for a wedding photo for my beach house loos absolutely gorgeous

This rose photo frame is classy and just the right size. I have a picture of it with my parents and I which was taken when my Mother was deteriorating from ALS. She died just 17 months later in January, 1996. So it holds a picture that is very precious to me. It was taken in front of the pink, historic, and beautiful Don Cesar Hotel in St. Petersburg, Florida, so the rose colored frame and that large big hotel in the background really compliment one another. I am thinking of buying another one of these rose photo frames again because I like it so much.

This rose gold frame is beautiful and the metal portion appears to be sturdy even though the design makes it appear visually delicate. However, please note, that the frame and packaging have their drawbacks. I will start with the frame: The frame comes with no instructions as to how to put the picture in. It was my first time with a double glass holding unit, and though I figured out how to load the picture, I think instructions would have been a courteous thing to do. Especially since we are being charged quite a lot of money for this frame. Now, for the drawbacks of the packaging: I had to have the frame replaced after the first delivery because the frame came with a large (very visible) crack on the glass. The crack was not surprising since the frame comes in a thin box, fitted into a flimsy Styrofoam molding. The additional very thin tissue and very thin bubble wrap were not of any help. To make matters worse, the Amazon warehouse put the box into a very thin white plastic envelope --- both times. So, though I love Amazon, I am disappointed with Amazon *and* Laura Ashley. They both failed to ensure that the frame was well-protected --- especially at these prices (did I mention the price?). The method of packaging by Laura Ashley and Amazon, for this costly frame, is reminiscent of the kind of packing that you get at a deep discount store. What were they thinking?! I will add that of late, Amazon has been chintzy with their packaging --- which is most shameful! With all of that said, this frame is a keeper! As I mentioned at the beginning, the frame is beautiful and the metal portion appears to be sturdy despite its visually delicate design. It looks beautiful on my home office desk, and fits right in with my home office rose gold color scheme. I am in love with my frame! In all, yes, I do recommend that you buy the frame. Consider it a splurge for yourself! :)

I have a small picture of my birth mother when she was young. It is important to me to find the facial features we have in common, She died years before I found her on Ancestry but I have a brother and sister who are wonderful. This particular picture is priceless and the lovely frame is perfect.

A beautiful frame and the stand is so much better than the standard ones. Does not tip over like the others.

This is a beautiful frame but won’t work if your photo has an edge you are trying to disguise. I should have realized this up front, but missed it. I tried to display a cross-stitch. Also, it is easy that fingerprints on it. Overall, it’s stunning. It just didn’t meet my needs. I recommend for the right picture.

Eight days after initiating a refund for the damaged item, to date, no one has come to collect it.

This frame is very pretty. I was afraid that the stand might not hold well, but it definitely holds better than the ones that pop out of the cardboard backing. I recommend this frame.
