Wow! Beautiful socks! They are soft, very warm but not itchy, and they wash perfectly in warm water without shrinking. The colors and patterns are gorgeous! This is the second time I've bought these socks, and I would definitely buy them again.

I like these socks. I am glad I purchased them on a lightning deal sale. The regular price for 5 pair I don’t think I’d feel like I got my money’s worth. The material is soft. The colors are pretty & wear well with a mixture of clothing. They look better in person than what is shown in the descriptive picture. The descriptive picture reflects different shades as well. I am happy with the shades I received. I hope my picture gives you a better idea. I do like the length of them. Not totally at mid calf but close to it if you pull them up all the way. My foot is size 10 & they fit me comfortably. The piece in the advertising for the solid colored socks, if you look at the written description better, is that there isn’t any type of wool fabric in these socks. The material is acrylic. It explains the stretch. The headline reads “wool” socks but this depends on what style you choose. If you read further down in the details more you’ll see this. This is why I rated them a 4 star. Yes some warm but not a cotton or wool type of warmth. Their washing instructions are wash or hand wash & hang to dry. I’m not hanging socks to dry.. I washed these on cold & dried them regularly & they appeared the same as the did when I put them in the washer. So overall good but interesting information if you do decide to purchase the solid colors. A nice Christmas gift.

Recently I needed socks to go with some new pants I got that were a little high and the colors were odd- smoky charcoal, army green and a navy blue that just didn't match any of my current socks. I'm going on a trip so I want all my stuff to match and look sharp. So I got these socks and they are perfect! The height is ideal for me- not too high but good coverage and the fit is good, they don't get all stuck putting them on where toes grab yarn. Best part is the color combinations which look stellar with my weird pants and I am now showing off my socks rather than trying to hide them. Now I have what I'd call a well turned ankle! Great socks! Oh also they don't slip down in my snow boots! Bonus!

I think these socks are great. They are warm, well-made, and a good value. They wash well, and did not shrink, but I did not put them in the drier. They are short, like crew socks, but that is not an issue.

I needed to stock up on warm socks for winter. I liked these for the beautiful color and design. When I pulled them out of the package I first noticed that the texture is not soft - I would have preferred a more “wool-like” feel. These feel more like course cotton, and aren’t very stretchy. I tried them on and found them to be shorter than I prefer. I wear a size 9 shoe, and have medium to narrow feet and ankles, and the top of the sock is about 7” from the floor. I am wearing a pair now to see if they keep my feet warm. They do, but not like other wool socks that I have. On the upside, I do like that they are not too thick, as I plan on wearing them with my Birkenstock sandals and other footwear. They seem like they will hold up well, and the fair-isle look is just what I wanted.
