Purchased this as we were hearing scratching and scurrying up in our loft at night. Product arrived promptly. Went up and placed the poison in 4 corners of the loft space. After 48 hours all the noise had stopped. Waited a week to be sure and checked the loft. All of the bait placed had been taken (presumably back to the nest). No rodent corpses found in the loft space. No more noises at night. Use gloves when handling.

I bought one bag of this poison and an enclosed bait box from which to deploy it. It was very popular at first and after using 3/4 of the bag over a 3 week period, activity seemed to stop. The last 1/4 of the bag gradually disappeared over a month which I assumed to be new “customers” (probably mice) moving into empty territory for their last meal. Note: If you are a lover of squirrels (i.e. rats with bushy tails), this may not be the solution for you!

After trying almost all products in local gardening and DIY stores, I opted for this online, hoping it would do as it says, "works with one bite" as it had brilliant claims at a really good price compared to some I'd bought before. Wow, I was amazed. It really did work, it worked quickly, possibly with only one bite!!! We live in the middle of the countryside, fields all around.... so no chance of never having them around us... but hoping to keep them out of our fenced in back garden...... So this is the second pack, and hopefully, eventually the little critters will remember not to come up from underground, into our garden!!

It's easy to use and doesn't break up. The pests seem to like it, but in the end, after going through a few blocks of this, I 'trapped' the mouse in the garage that was causing damage, so I can't say it had much effect and it isn't cheap to throw around either.

I’ve just received my second order of this Pesteq bait. After placing three blocks at a time in a bait box my first pack was nearly all used up in just over three weeks. It started off slowly with only small pieces of bait being taken. It then got much quicker with full blocks being eaten over the next few days. This has continued with three blocks at time being eaten every three of four days. To date I have seen and disposed of only one dead rat which I assume, and hope, was killed by the poison, so presumably the bait is being taken by other rats nesting nearby. My only frustration with rat poison is you cannot always see the results of your endeavours, so you don’t really know how effective the poison has been. The rats seem to love it though so hopefully it does what it says on the packet.

I placed the block on the floor close to where I suspected Roland was hiding (note I don't have kids or pets). I went out for two hours and on my return the block had vanished. Guess Roland was hungry! Well that's it...nothing else..no more scratching sounds...nothing. Please use disposable gloves while handling the stuff. Update...Bait was taken on Sunday evening about 6 to 7pm. Then it went quiet but tonight I have come home to two very unwell Rolands...Managed to get one out of the house in a bag but the other one escaped. Tomorrow I will track down its body after work. Certainly did not enjoy watching them suffer but I cannot risk having an infestation. In this experience its been two days before the poison has worked.
