Performs well. No complaints or compatibility issues, and the 3-pack is far less expensive than the original filter that came with the refrigerator. We don't use the fridge's water dispenser a lot but when we do the water flows fluidly. Easy to remove and install and the month labels help with replacement timing.

This filter works as good as the very expensive filter sold by GE for its refrigerators. It's easy to install with just a quarter twist and doesn't leak. The filtered water taste delicious and is my go to for a refreshing quench of thirst or as an ingredient in my cooking recipes. With prices going through the roof, finding an item that cost less and can do the same thing as it's more expensive counterpart is a blessing.

When we purchased our new GE refrigerator, it came with a water filter already screwed in place. Inside the vegetable keeper compartment, there were an additional three boxes of water filters, containing three filters inside each box in the vegetable keeper. When we replaced the water filter with a new one, we dated each filter. It was difficult to tell when the filter was going to need changing. The information that came inside of the box indicated the. filter it should be changed about every six months. It was easy to forget that it needed to be changed, because every glass taste like the one before it. It was just my wife and I using water, from our filtered water system from our new fidge. After we changed the filter, we would try to estimate how long the next filter would be in used. When we used all of the filters that came with the refrigerator when we bought it. We began looking for a new replacement filter, that was as good as, our as close to as good as, the last GE filter that came with the refrigerator when we bought it. We started scrolling through Amazon and other water filter web sites. We looked at many different water filters sites. After looking through the specs, of those that looked familiar, we compared the specs at the online sites, with water the quality reports we receive twice a year. We began looking for filters that could take out those particulates the report said were still in our water, after processing through our counties new water system treatment center. It’s a little shocking to find out what’s in your local water source. You will find filters that appear to be the same as others, but they cost just a little bit more. Once you find the filter that removes the known particulates in your water source, and the price is comparable with the others you have to make a decision as to which one you’re gonna try first. We would buy several different brand name filters at one time. We found that all filters are not always made the same. I believe the water drop replacement filter was my second or third filter that I tried. Once we tried it, it appeared to provide for us the quality and the taste that we really wanted in our water filtering system. After I take runoff several gallons of water, after replacing the old filter with the new filter, I like filling up about a half a gallon jar so I can see if there any particulates they still come through the filter. My wife and I have both been very pleased with the Waterdrop water filter for the GE refrigerator. It fits in our refrigerator just as good as the original filter they came with our refrigerator. We had only one problem with this filter. Then, following an investigation as to why the filter leaked, I detected the individual who attempted to put the new filter in, failed it turn the water off. It is not needed to turn the water off, I’ve taught my wife to do it for safety. My wife is five foot tall. To reach the filter inside the refrigerator, it would be wise to have a small stepstool if you’re as short as my wife. Instead, she slid the top shelf out, reached up and proceeded to take out the filter. Then all of a sudden she was screaming that the refrigerator was leaking. I reached around the back, turned off the water and said it will all work out, we intended to clean the refrigerator out after all. We’ve been using this refrigerator for over 20 years. Outside of the GE filters and a few filters that we tried looking for the right one we thought did the best job we’ve constantly gone back to this brand. I can only recommend that you take time looking for a new filter because the water that may come out of your local water source may not be the same as mine. Also make sure to check this what particulates your filter will take out. I feel pretty comfortable that when you go through. The Waterdrop replacement you will probably do what I did, I stayed with the filter that always provided us a quality drinking water, plus if I ever had any questions about their products, their customer service was always pleasant to speak with.

Nicely fits, this is a 3rd times we re-purchase this product, no leakage, as far as I can tell this product are great quality comparing to the GE original filter, I thinks this product exceeded my expectations. The water flow is good.

They came fast, packaged well and at a great price. Best part is they work! The oem replacement I bought leaked so I had to return it. These aftermarket ones went in easily and do not leak.

These work good but do not last as long as the originals. Still worth buying.
