Is there anyway I can get the instructions sheet?

It’s just a stencil… there aren’t instructions. Put it on paper, put you pen in the shape and trace the outline…

Of what material is made the extra stencil?

The stencil is made of a slightly flexible (not too rigid) plastic.

I tried using 0.5 and 0.7 friction pens and they don’t fit, what does everyone use that works for pens??

try to use a mechanical pencil, tough a 0.5 or 0.7 pens should work. Please notice that there are some shapes that are not for drawing and you would not be able to draw through them. You can use them to add more drawings when you put them on a shape that you already have draw. For example if you draw a hexane, you can than use the hexane shape next to it(which is not for drawing) to add additional drawings to the original shape. Please write to me if it wasn't clear enough

i have 1.0mm pens, would that work?

Yes, with the exception of the bonds leading from the six-membered ring where only a .0.7-mm pencil lead or pen will fit.
