This is the first in a ever evolving series of books. State by state, starting with Louisiana. They young children LOVE it, especially when you sing the book to Johnette Downing's song. After the children learn about things in Louisiana, you can go on to Texas, etc etc.etc you won't be sorry you bought this colorful book that young children love.

I think the book is interesting. It does bring in a lot of Cajun culture. Will be reading it to my PreK Class for "L" week.
