Good old reliable Pyrex
This Pyrex glass measuring cup has quickly become one of those everyday kitchen staples I reach for constantly. The size is perfect for smaller tasks—measuring liquids for baking, warming milk, mixing sauces, even melting butter. It’s just more convenient than pulling out a larger cup when you don’t need it. The glass feels sturdy and well-made, not flimsy at all, and I love that it can go from microwave to dishwasher without any issues. The handle is comfortable to hold, and the spout pours cleanly without dripping (which is a bigger deal than it sounds when you’re cooking regularly). The measurement markings are clear and easy to read, and they haven’t faded with washing, which I’ve had happen with other brands. Overall, it’s simple, reliable, and does exactly what you want it to do—no complaints. If you cook or bake at all, this is one of those basic tools that just works and lasts

Most valuable player in the kitchen
This is the perfect measuring cup, which includes both metric (up to 500 ml) and cups (up to 2 cups). The markings are clear and this is the timeless pyrex glass with a spout and handle that we love and trust. This is one of my most-used tools in the kitchen, and I was thrilled to find this in glass after a visitor broke my old one and I could find only plastic in local shops. Thank you for continuing to offer this in sturdy pyrex glass!

The Pyrex Measuring Cup - Where Math Meets Madcap!
Ah, the Pyrex Measuring Cup, my kitchen confidant and partner in (culinary) crime. You know you're an adult when you get unreasonably excited about a measuring cup, but this isn't just any measuring cup – it's like the superhero of kitchen gadgets. I half-expect it to leap out of the cupboard in a cape, ready to save the day! Let's start with its transparency. It's so transparent; it's practically auditioning for a role in a magic show. I mean, you can see right through it! That's a game-changer, especially for those of us who've been traumatized by countless botched recipes because we couldn't tell a half-cup from a quarter-cup. With the Pyrex Measuring Cup, there's no room for confusion. It's like a culinary crystal ball. And speaking of magic, this thing can handle hot and cold like a champ. I've poured boiling-hot soup into it, and it didn't flinch. I've also used it to measure out icy-cold milk for my cereal, and it didn't crack under the pressure. It's like the Mr. Freeze of measuring cups – unflappable in the face of extreme temperatures. But here's where it gets really interesting: the Pyrex Measuring Cup is virtually indestructible. I once dropped it from the top shelf of my kitchen cabinet (don't ask how that happened), and it just bounced like it was made of rubber. I'm convinced it's made from the same material as Captain America's shield. I half-expect it to come with a warranty that says, "Guaranteed to survive the apocalypse – and maybe a small asteroid impact." Cleaning it is a breeze, too. I've accidentally left chocolate sauce, tomato soup, and who-knows-what-else stuck to it for days, and a simple rinse and swipe with a sponge, and voila, it's like new. I'm pretty sure Pyrex cups are immune to the concept of "stains." Now, let's talk about those easy-to-read measurements. They're like the font of wisdom for my culinary adventures. I can finally tell the difference between a teaspoon and a tablespoon without consulting the Rosetta Stone of recipes. In conclusion, the Pyrex Measuring Cup isn't just a kitchen tool; it's a kitchen superhero. It's transparent, temperature-resistant, indestructible, and incredibly easy to clean. It's like the Swiss Army Knife of measuring cups, except it doesn't have a corkscrew or a toothpick – but it doesn't need them because it's already mastered the art of making cooking feel like a magic show. If you want to level up your culinary game and have a blast doing it, this cup is your trusty sidekick. Just remember to give it a superhero name when you're not using it – it deserves it!

Great quality
I broke my measuring cup and wanted one just like the one I broke. I was able to find it on Amazon and couldn’t be happier. It’s heavy glass, which, when the last one broke, it broke into big chunks, which was an easy cleanup. I had that measuring cup for more than 10 years.

Necessary
I like this Pyrex Measuring Cup for several reasons. First, it is made of glass so you can see inside it. Second, the red measuring graphics are easy to read. Third, it is thick glass which is less likely to break, although I did manage to finally break my first cup like this. I used it almost daily and it took 18 years to break, so you do the math there for its durability. Fourth, it is a Pyrex. I like the quality of Pryex. It costs a smidge more but it is worth it. Quality item. Fifth, a glass measuring cup should be a necessary item in every kitchen.

Much higher quality than the ones in the stores in my area!
For some reason, I can’t find Pyrex measuring cups in the 2 cup format anywhere in my city at any grocery store or HomeGoods store for some reason they don’t carry them in my area so I have to buy them on Amazon. I’m so glad Amazon and other sellers on Amazon are selling these still I hope they keep selling them indefinitely as they’re the only place I can get them! Pyrex is legendary for high-quality tempered glass Wear. I highly recommend it! I have a cheap measuring cup not a Pyrex that the paint peeled off and you can’t even read where the lines are or what cups you’re filling it too, unlike the Pyrex, which is lasted just as long as another target one I have without any cracking/chipping or paint peeling off. Skip Target/Walmart and Safeway, And get this one on Amazon!

Great size cup
It’s Pyrex - of course it’s perfect. Fits well between a 1 cup and 4 cup size for easy storage

It's almost the same as our 40 year old cup, but not quite
In the early 1980s, we bought a Pyrex 2-cup measuring cup and used it daily to boil water for tea in the microwave until the other night when our cat had the Zoomies. She knocked it off the counter and onto the tile floor, shattering it into a thousand pieces. We have been trying to find a replacement in the stores for the past few years, as the lettering had faded, and we thought it was no longer manufactured. The newer Anchor measuring cups that we have bought as replacements tend to "dribble" when you're pouring, whereas our old Pyrex does not. So I was thrilled to find the old Pyrex measuring cup on Amazon. It's very shiny, the lettering is easy to read, and it arrived on time in excellent condition. The only downside is that it, too, is a "dribbler." Unless you pour very, very slowly, the spout dribbles down the side of the cup. The cup looks the same as our old one, but apparently, the pouring spout has been "upgraded" over the years and doesn't work as well as it used to. That's the only reason for the 4-star review. I will have to pour much more slowly from this new cup, or I will have to clean up the counter/stove after using it and losing some of the liquid.
