Moisturizes but not greasy. Awesome product
I sampled this ointment at my dermatologist office and fell in love with it. I now choose it over Cera Ve. It definitely moisturizes but it is not too thick or greasy. Love it

Super effective for dry skin, any red cheeks.
I love this. This is very helpful with dry lips and my husband lips easily moisturizes. Even during cold winter days, my children’s skin never dry.

New favorite ointment
This is become my new favorite healing ointment among Vaseline, Aquaphor, and Cerave. It has great staying power compared to Cerave, lanolin free unlike Aquaphor, and not as thick and heavy as Vaseline. I use it everywhere, on my lips, face, feet, scratches, any tip of skin irritation. A great all purpose product.

Good for chapped lips, but slight aftertaste
I’ve been desperately looking for a replacement for my usual lip ointment (Vanicream) and finally gave up and started to consider products that contain petrolatum as the active ingredient. This one is pretty nice, effective, and non-irritating, but sadly it has a slight aftertaste that does get annoying. The finish is a little too glossy (one of my favorite things about Vanicream ointment was how surprisingly matte it looks on the lips even when applying a thick layer).

It’s simple, effective, and incredibly versatile.
I bought CETAPHIL Healing Ointment after my surgeon told me to use “healing ointment” following a mini facelift. I had no idea what he meant, so I searched, took a leap on this, and I’m glad I did. My face healed beautifully with no visible scars, and I’ve been hooked on this product ever since. Cetaphil has always been reliable for me, but this ointment in particular feels like a quiet superstar. It has replaced anything I used to reach for Vaseline or other petroleum jelly for, and I now use it as: - A general moisturizer on very dry areas - A protective layer on healing skin - A stand-in for antibiotic ointments like neo/polysporin on minor cuts and scrapes

Sensitive Skin
My husband and I both have very sensitive skin. Mine is fair and thin. His skin chaps easily. This is the only product we use. It is very moisturizing, lasts on my skin until washed off and does not have a scent. Compared to other products who promise to deliver and do not, this product is of good value for the money
