The build quality of this scanner is decent, and it worked right out of the box. I primarily got this so I wouldn't have to manually type out UPCs or struggle to read small barcodes when searching for products. It has made that process much faster and more accurate. It is compatible with Windows, Mac, and even Android phones. Just a heads-up for Mac and Android users: you’ll likely need a USB to USB-C adapter to get it connected. I like it enough that I’m considering buying a second one to bring to work. It would make entering product numbers much easier than doing it by hand all day. One important note: Keep the manual! It contains a sheet of specific barcodes used to program the scanner’s extra abilities. Without that sheet, you won't be able to adjust the settings later.

Purchased for my retail store and it has been a great value. It has almost no issues scanning barcodes and it is plug and play so it is very simple to use. It reads barcodes just fine and I have maybe had a single failure of its accuracy in the almost year I've been using it. Build quality is nothing to complain about and while it's build it plastic and light it has held up to my sometimes not so gentle movement and use of it. Only complaint I have would be that because I only put my computer to sleep at the end of the day I have sometimes went to scan something and it just gives me a beep and nothing happens. Super easy fix has just been to unplug the USB and plug it back in. This has yet to fail to solve the not scanning issue and is more than likely an issue with how I'm using the computer and scanner together rather than a failure of the scanner itself. Haven't once found myself wishing I'd spent more on one of these.

Purchased this scanner to use with Libib and it works great! Took no time at all to set up, just plug in to the computer and start scanning!

We run a small private lending library with 85 families and 12,000 books. All of our books have LibraryThing barcodes and we use Libib software. (We used to use LibraryThing software.) We have purchased 6 scanners over the last three years trying to find the best one for us. This scanner is a workhorse. It is fast, accurate, and scans any barcodes that we throw at it. And, it is well constructed. We do not ever use it in the stand, so it does get knocked onto the floor periodically and is no worse for wear. And, we love the sound that it makes - it is loud enough to hear it over the din of library noise but not so loud that it drives us nuts. Of all of the scanners that we have purchased, we have loved this one best and have purchased it three times so that we can have multiple people working at the same time.

I like this thing. It actually works without any software or anything. I can scan my dvd's and it brings up the movie in my cataloging software. I can scan a barcode and enter it on the Wal-mart site and it pulls up that item. I can scan any barcode on the google search and it will pull it all the links to the product, prices and where to purchase. It is really neat. I have it plugged into my USB 3.0 hub, but only power it on when I want to use it. It comes with info on how to change modes and all sorts of different ways to use it, but I just use it as plug and play default. It is an excellent value. The dvd software company wants $70.00 USD for their scanner. This one does the same thing for under $14

Worked great for what we needed it for, worked on a company computer that had USB restrictions for storage, and also didn't need any drivers to work. Main use for us was to scan barcodes to input those related numbers into an excel spreadsheet. if you need something for relatively simple data entry this is a great product for the cost.

Works great until it doesn't. For some reason, mine stopped working 2 months after I started using it. Can't beat the price for having this tool for convenience, but I'm now having to buy a new one.

Works great. Nothing to setup, just plug in and start scanning. I was having an issue with the scanner adding a Return after each scan but contacted support via email and got very good help in resolving this. Highly recommend this product!

1回目のスキャンは必ず上手く数字を拾えずに2回で上手く行く。やっぱり値段の違いは機能の違いなのか？まぁ安く手に入れたのでこのまま使っていきます。

本やCDを整理/管理するリスト作成のために購入。 特に読み込みエラーもなく、問題なく使えています。 安く買えたので、得した気分です。

結構ハードに使っていますが、全く壊れない。近くでスキャンすると反応がわるいが、離して使うと反応がいい！ 手放せないスキャナーです。コードがちょっと長いかな？！
