We have a 50' cable connecting two TVs that we use to screenshare things from iPads so it shows up on two TVs at once and we were having intermittent issues with the most distant TV being pink/purple or just outright not working. We thought the TV was going out, but I was like, let me try an amplifier and see what happens. Hooked this up and the screen hasn't been pink or purple since, and the signal has been rock solid. We even connected a laptop to the amplifier and screenshared to both TVs just fine. This will solve your issues if you're trying to have two TVs display the same content with an HDMI cable longer than twenty five feet. Review: Works perfectly - worked perfectly for the purpose I purchased it for - no complaints. If you have issues with "handshakes" in your a/v system, this could very well be your answer as well!

Works perfectly
worked perfectly for the purpose I purchased it for - no complaints. If you have issues with "handshakes" in your a/v system, this could very well be your answer as well!

Simple, cheap, and works
This is one of the cheapest combo splitters and signal amplifiers I've found. My only regret is that it has only two outputs. I bought one a year ago and it was working trouble free ever since. The amplification was strong enough to reach a monitor through 60 feet of HDMI cable. NOTE: The power plug is NOT USB; it requires the plug that came with it, which must go into a wall-type socket. I needed a third monitor this year, and I found the easiest option was to buy another one of these. So I have the original with one output going to a wireless connection for one monitor, and the other output going to the second splitter. The output of the second splitter goes to a projector and straight to another monitor. Amazingly, this actually works! A three-output splitter would definitely be simpler, but I don't have to do anything to make the setup I have work now that it's together and it didn't cost that much either.

it works
Could not get 4K channels at first. Asked for a call from support and had a call back within a minute, very impressive. Very nice lady trying to help, I told her I'll play with configuration and she is calling me back tonight however I changed the way my shaw cable box sent the 4K signal and working fine now. Only used for 3 days so far but seems good. Overall i'm impressed. Shaw told me there was no way to send the signal to both tvs. My wife likes the tv in kitchen on same channel in Living room so she can go back and forth without pausing her shows. Used a hdmi cable approx 50 feet long to run into the kitchen.
