when calibrating to 0, what counts as distilled or fresh water?

After doing some research, apparently you don’t want to calibrate to 0. The reason for the 35ppt calibration fluid is it will lose accuracy the further away you get away from the calibration level. So you want to calibrate as close to the level that you plant to use it at as possible.

It broke in less than a week

It is trash and it does not give good readings and when you move the focus wheel, it totally changes the reading. And The inner glass got broken while I am moving the focus wheel
