Wooden Abacus for Kids - 100 Counting Sticks and Number Toys Cards 1-100, Educational Math Games for Preschool and Elementary School 1st 2nd Grade

This abacus was a real hit at my three-year-old nephew's birthday party. He loved it and immediately took everything out of the box and started playing with the beads. He wasn't too sure about how to use the sticks, but that will come later. I especially liked the way it was made from quality materials and colorful painting on the various beads. It's an educational toy he'll use for several years.

This is the best item I could’ve bought. My k5 kids really enjoy it with helping them learn how to add and subtract.

Great to help kids with math. It is good quality and durability, very functional and easy to use. The perfect size.

Very helpful in teaching simple counting addition and subtraction techniques

Here we have a toy that not only has the perfect counting apparatus involving beads on rods that are all contained so they can be slid down the rods as the child counts by ones or fives or tens or twos all the way to 100, but it also comes with cards to challenge the child to solve simple math equations! Most any child can do this activity, with or without the help of an adult after a brief explanation! Very simple and understandable, and a great way to self-teach! Would make an excellent gift but would probably recommend for a child that is already interested in math or counting or one who finds excitement and enjoyment out of toys without batteries or cartoons or computers or else you might not get much 'wow' factor if that is what your hope for when giving a gift to a child. However, every preschool to kindergarten and possibly first grade schoolroom should have one of these! (and every home) What a difference it could make to the understanding of math at earlier ages if everyone had access to this toy early in life!

Missing piece

算数障害と診断された小2の子どもの為に買いました。そろばんや棒を使いながら数の概念を体験できるので、うちの子に最適な玩具でした。数字と記号のカードは足し算や引き算だけでなく掛け算や割り算もあるのが良かったです。 机の上に置いていても邪魔にならない大きさもいい！！ とても安かったので質の面で不安がありましたが、大きな欠損などもなくコスパは良いと思います。

This abacus is excellent for helping kids learn counting and basic math in a hands on way. The wooden pieces are sturdy and safe for children. It makes learning more interactive and fun compared to just worksheets. Very good educational toy for home or classroom use.

I received the package Open, I was surprised but I said it's ok, but when I opened the sticks I found one of them was full of holes with some kind of black insects inside!!! I broke the stick a bit to figure out what was the black insect, it turned out to be 3 worms alive, moving inside the stick!!!!! So disappointed! And will be returning this product!
