Works great! For those that need it to turn CW clockwise just stick a nail or something narrow in the hole of the shaft and give it a nudge in the opposite direction while it's turning. It'll change directions. This fixed my electric fireplace that was buzzing. Now it's soothing and not annoying.

Worked as advertised was able to replace fireplace insert motor with out issue.

Be careful!! It might just be my ignorance but I interpreted the CCW/CW description as being CAPABLE of rotation in both directions... BUT, it really means that the direction is totally random. Some folks have posted that if it is turning the wrong direction, just turn it off and on again. O.k.... mine doesn't do that. It is CCW all the time every time. Odd because the motor that I replaced also said CCW/CW but it turned CW all the time every time for the last 15 years. It is my fault for not investigating further... I just glanced at it and assumed that reversing the power leads would change its direction. Right! If it was a DC motor. I'm sure it is a fine motor gear set, just be aware. Seems weird, makes me wonder about applications where reverse direction could be a disaster. Turntables? Now off to find one marked "CW" only.

Got this to replace the motor in my electric logs for my fireplace It runs the device that makes it look like the flames are moving. Works well with highly recommend it for a replacement motor.

This motor was PERFECT to replace a worn out flame motor on our electric Heat Surge fireplace. My daughter did the install and the motor noise is gone -- super quiet operation. We had an initial issue of the flames moving from top to bottom and just had to rotate the motor to create the opposite normal flame effect. Very happy with this purchase. Highly recommend.

I replaced the motor in my electric fireplace with this. No one could tell me if rotation (Clockwise/Counter Clockwise) is judged looking at the motor from the spindle side or not. So I got this dual directional motor CC/CCW. Works fine, solved the bearing noise issue. When I turn it on sometimes the flames go down, not up, so I just turn it off then until it rotates correctly. Be sure your application can tolerate running backwards without damaging anything.

This tension pole was a game changer for me. I had a detached shelf after having my walk-in shower installed. It was always in the way. I installed one of these and I am very please, at how space saving it is. I was very surprised at how sturdy it was. I just received my second one. Both will fit with plenty os arm and leg room, in my shower.
