This toilet exceeded my expectations. The TORNADO FLUSH is powerful and keeps the bowl clean, while the CEFIONTECT finish makes maintenance much easier. It looks great, is comfortable thanks to the universal height, and was well worth the purchase. Highly recommend!

This is how all toilets should be made. Clever design, easy to install, rarely if ever clogs. Nice height but not too tall. Solid, stable, sturdy. Paired nicely with the soft close bidet seat that was a life changer. Seriously, it was. You’ll never go back…anyway, toilet coating makes it easy to keep clean and maintain plus the swirling of water design makes cleaning unnecessary most of the time. It cleans itself. Sealed well with the rubber ring gasket that was recommended, can’t remember the name but it’s blue. Came with toilet bolts but I purchased heavy duty long plastic bolts just because I’ve had toilet bolts rust before and that’s a tough issue with which to deal.

It arrived in perfect condition in two boxes that were very well packed so I think it would have been hard for the shipper to break it. Note shippers: this isn’t a challenge! I love the fact that it’s chair height; it makes it much more comfortable and easier on my old knees. The lack of a rim makes it easier to clean and to keep clean which means less time cleaning. Plus, I’m pretty sure this thing can’t be clogged. It was really easy to install and came with everything needed, except the wax ring and toilet seat, which was fine because I added a bidet seat. My water bill has gone down because I was replacing an older toilet that used at least twice as much water per flush so that’s nice, too. Anyway, if you’re on the fence just go ahead and get this. It’s a great toilet and I, a 55 year old woman, was able to install it with no problems after just watching a couple YouTube videos.

This toilet is amazing. First let me say our old one was 35 years old. I came into its life at year 27 and the last 8 have been a hate/hate relationship between us. Constant clogs that moved into constant clogs and a constant and expanding black mold no matter how much I cleaned the bowl. This toilet is comfortable, a larger size bowl but smaller tank and the flush is quick and decisive. I love the fact that it doesn’t have jets but used centrifugal force . I was worried having less water 1.6 vs almost 3 gallons) but that hasn’t been a problem at all. Now for those ordering, don’t choose the non Amazon option that offers quicker shipping. It is through CEVA and it took 2 weeks to arrive despite sitting in a warehouse 2 hrs away. Package is box only no cushion but arrived undamaged. You will need a wax ring and bolts but all the “guts” are included. Installation was fairly easy. The instructions were clear. I’m hoping the hype is true and the glaze put on the material stays (I bought Lysol oxygen toilet bowl cleaner with hydrogen peroxide) and this lasts at least 20 yrs before looking dirty despite daily cleaning.

Works perfectly without drama. No issues with fitting as in should. Easy to clean and it looks great.

This is my favorite toilet, I have purchased a lot of toilets in my lifetime and this is the best one ever! It requires minimal cleaning due to it being rimless. It flushes well, has a strong flush, doesn’t run for long and is quiet. Has a great appearance, very stable, great height. You will need to purchase a lid separately.

This toilet was long overdue at my dad’s house. I did a lot of research, and plumbers seem to laude the Toto Drake as the gold standard in mid-priced toilets. To that end - it’s indeed fantastic. It looks clean and sleek in cotton white. The elongated bowl is better for large-bottomed folks, but also men, I’m told. (It isn’t ridiculously elongated - just seems like a standard residential toilet.) I AM glad I ordered the universal/chair height — which is a couple inches taller than the standard version. I’m 5’8 and it doesn’t seem noticeably tall at all. Moreso, I appreciate my dad doesn’t have to struggle as much sitting down or getting up off of it. I highly recommend this height more than the standard version. Also, the flush isn’t overpowering as others have said - yes, it’s on the strong side but the sound isn’t any louder than a standard home toilet flush. HOWEVER… the installation was awful. Granted, I’ve never installed a toilet but I’m a sharp gal who’s comfortable with household repairs. (Plenty of YouTube videos to teach you - and these were infinitely more helpful than the folded paper instructions.) Here are some important tips for first-time installers, or if you’ve never installed this type of toilet. FIRST - you need to buy mounting hardware/screws for the floor (I anticipated this as the small print and reviews stated this kit does NOT come with them. The screws/nuts/metal and rubber washers for the tank are included, as are the plastic caps to cover up the screws on the floor.) The floor mounting screws are usually included in the new wax seal or “Better Than Wax” seal that you will also need to buy ($9). I also HIGHLY recommend getting an extra tank mounting kit/set of screws and rubber washers - mine cost like $6 at Home Depot - AND a small tube of silicon sealant ($8–12). As others have noted, after I installed it the first time, the bottom of the tank started leaking - BADLY - as soon as I turned the water on. I’ll add that I followed directions to the letter - and carefully tightened each side of the tank screws little by little to ensure an even fit. It was hard gauging how tight to screw everything because you don’t want to crack the porcelain and ruin your toilet. So, after failed installation #1, I went through the tedium of scooping the water out of the tank and unscrewing the tank mounting bolts to try again. After installation attempt #2, there was still a tiny bit of leaking when I turned on the water - which I thought I fixed by tightening one of the tank screws. However, when I flushed - same problem. Water would seep out of the bottom of the tank. This is when I cried. You know that scene in “Christmas Vacation” when Clark Griswold freaks out when his Christmas lights fail? I felt like that times 26. My dad, an expert family handyman, extolled me to try the silicon. He said it looked like tightening the screws sucked part of the rubber washer into the mounting hole, creating a faulty seal. This was surprising because the toilet comes with *thick* rubber washers, but I had better luck with the store-bought ones. Because I mentally couldn’t handle a third failed attempt, my dad showed me how to apply a thin layer of silicon under the rubber washer before affixing the inside-the-tank screws. We also applied a thin line of silicon along the outside of the rubber gasket where it affixes to the plastic ring around the bottom hole in the tank. You want to use the bare minimum amount of silicon to create a good “all the way around” seal - while wiping up any excess, which could dry and create a lumpy barrier that might prevent things from fitting as intended. I was irritated to have to wait 24 hours to let the silicon dry - but I’m glad I did. (In other words, the screws were affixed to the tank, but we let the tank and components dry completely before attaching it to the base of the bowl.) FINALLY - hallelujah - when I affixed the tank the third time, THERE WERE NO FRICKING LEAKS!! Just be sure to look carefully at the two tiny upward, porcelain mounds at the front of the toilet bowl, and the one in the back of the toilet. Once you’ve tightened enough so that all three are gently touching the tank - and the tank doesn’t move when you try to wiggle it - you should be set. That said, I would never, ever, ever attempt this again without the silicone to reinforce the seal.

I was very concerned about buying this and having it shipped. I had had a bad experience with Home Depot on a broken toilet. I have to say, this was packaged excellent and could have withstood anything any shipper could try to do. The toilet was in perfect shape. An easy install, am we are very happy with it. Single flush… compared to three flushes with Glacier Bay. Definitely worth the few extra dollars.

Es un excelente inodoro, tiene un diseño de tipo torbellino de agua muy potente y su sistema de drenado es muy eficiente, poderoso y rápido. Comparado con otro inodoro similar de otra marca, puedo decir que este inodoro es un poderoso tigre, mientras mi anterior inodoro de torbellino era un sencillo gatito. Se mantiene mucho mas limpio por su poderosa acción de torbellino y la cantidad y velocidad del agua que fluye. Estoy muy contento con su funcionamiento. Viene con accesorios para instalarlo a piso (Excepto el cuello de cera) y el tanque viene desensamblado de la base del inodoro. Pero trae todo lo necesario para instalarlo. Viene con su flotador y válvula de llenado. No trae asiento del inodoro ni manguera de agua para conectarlo.

Hands down the best toilet on the market. Is it the quietest flush ? Absolutely not but boy does it work well, no multiple flushes required. I’ve replaced my three toilets with the Toto Drake and couldn’t be happier. Plus it fits the Toto washlet perfectly.
