The book accompanies the RYA level 1 & Level 2 Dinghy sailing courses and is an invaluable reference guide Full marks to Amazon on delivery, I ordered the book late on a Sunday evening and it arrived the following day on the Monday afternoon

Great introduction
Great little book as an introduction to sailing, although it does go straight into using all the terminology from the onset, so if you're unfamiliar with sailor speak it may take a while to remember the terms. Thankfully there is a glossary at the back of the book for quick reference. I've given 4 stars as it would have been nice to give a bit more of an explanation of the RYA courses and qualifications on offer and what each enables you to do, how long it would take etc. rather than just referring to go look at the RYA website. I appreciate that they want to keep current, but it still would have been helpful as I'm sure things to change that much.
