I like this Gopro SmallRig cage more than the Gopro Media Mod cage. Unlike the Media Mod, you don't have to remove the cage to replace battery. SmallRig must have re-design the battery door for easy removal. My Gopro 13 fits into this cage snugly. The camera has not overheated on me yet, but then I don't shoot more than 15 minutes at a time and always outdoor. I can always remove the battery door if the camera gets too hot.

Well designed, perfect fit. Gives two cold shoe mounts to add lights or other accessories. There is easy access to the batter door and unlike the GOPRO media mod case, you can change memory cards and batteries without removing the case. The unit comes with a battery door allowing charging access or provides a usb port for the GOPROaudio connection. Unfortunately you can’t charge and. Attach the audio at the same time as both use the same single usb port. The clip on audio connection holder works very well however, I found that without the GOPRO audio unit, keeping the case on the GOPRO, TENDS TO AFFECT THE AUDIO QUALITY OF THE ON BOARD GOPRO built in mic, it produces strange results.

The SmallRig is awesome. I have the GoPro hero 10 and it fits perfectly around. It holds the audio adapter very well. This item is so beneficial for the GoPro and the price is amazing too.

As usual from smallrig this cage fits perfectly around your Gopro10 My only negative is that it is made of very durable plastic and not alloy like the cages for DSLR cameras, which i also own.

La jaula le queda muy bien a mi gopro 11 y deja libre la parte de la cambiar la puerta lateral, tiene dos espacios para Zapata fría y en especial si tienes el adaptador de audio , solo la puerta lateral podría ser mejor

Great little after market design which is a perfect fit for purpose. Some reviews have talked about being disappointed with the plastic mount, but I am OK with that. If you are video blogging with an external mic attached, you typically are not doing anything rough enough to need the strength of metal mount/fingers. If you are really worried about the strength of the mount and you are doing some filming that needs a tougher mount, just don't use this plastic mount. The camera's inbuilt metal folding mount fingers will do the job and your cables will just be a little messy joining mic to camera. The camera itself fits like a glove, the replacement side plate for the camera (to give you access to the USBC port) works perfectly. I am happy with my purchase and looking forward to getting some vlogging done with this little mini rig set up.
