One 6 Inch Net Pot with New Zealand Sphagnum Moss

These 6" Root Pruning Pots serve many purposes in small, medium, large, seeds, and cuttings of carnivorous plants and other growing choices, no matter which medium is used. Now, with carnivorous plants, I don't steer away from New Zealand Sphagnum Moss and distilled or reverse osmosis water. I have experimented with cactus and orchid soils, same water, for other plants. These fit nicely in 2.5 or 4 quart glass bowls if, like me, space is a consideration as well as root separation. I have over 30 of these pots. I am using them more now for any size carnivorous plant because there is better drainage for certain plants. They are strong, plastic, slotted pots that do not allow moss or other soils to escape once they are hydrated fully.

The Venus Flytrap I bought here outgrew its original pot, so I ordered a larger one. The new pot was filled to the brim with moss. Great value. Our plant has growing room now and extra moss to use as a refresh if ever needed.

Pardon me in advance if this sounds mellow-dramatic for a review about a pot and sphagnum moss, but it is completely true: There are only a few interactions in life where you get to experience someone who actually cares about their work, and goes beyond "good" service. Joel is one of those people. I am not a plant guy, and nothing left in my care has ever lived that I can remember... except my Venus fly trap. This is only because Joel took the time to send me an e-mail as soon as I received my product. He included clear care instructions, created helpful YouTube videos, and even built a website as a resource for further reading. He went beyond making the sale, and serviced the customer (me) to the point that I am at risk of becoming nerdy about plants. I thought I'd have this plant for a month or two and move on. I find myself coming home from work and checking on it almost daily. Now here I am buying a bigger pot for it and researching Neem oil... lol. Thanks Joel, I know you will succeed where others fail because of the effort your putting out!

I needed a bigger pot for my Venus fly trap. I got this and it is doing great.

I love this pot! It's exactly what I needed for the pot I wanted to replant my pitcher plant into! The moss is wonderful and has done great. I replanted my plant a little over a month ago and it is still really happy. I have bought twice from Joel and both times my order wasn't quite right (first time had no care instructions, second time they sent me moss but no pot) when I received it. Joel is super responsive and fixes the issues as quickly as possible though so no real complaints. There is just enough moss to fill the pot and the net pot sits on top of the rim of my 7" pot which looks nice and keeps the plant in just the right amount of water. Comes in the mail as a pot filled with moss wrapped in cling wrap.

I ended up purchasing this due to my VFT growing like crazy. Transplant into this pot was good. It's big and sturdy in comparison to my old pot. My plant looked tiny but now it's spreading out. Came full of the moss needed for my VFT. Definitely happy with this purchase.

Exactly what I wanted. This mesh pot will allow my VFTs to grow nicely. Comes with plenty of growing material so I did have extra for later on. Very satisfied.
