I talk all day and these are paramount to my vocal stamina!
I talk all day for work, and these really do clarify my voice and soothe my throat. Plus I love the flavor of anise/black licorice . My mum shared these with me decades ago when she was in England and I’m so glad I stumbled upon them here. I keep an extra tin in the car and they don’t melt in the summer heat.

Not even close to SEN SEN. Light licorice flavor
I am old enough to remember SEN SEN, sold actually to cover up bad oral smells...from smoking, drinking, poor oral care. I also remember the 'lil bitty paper package having a unique odor...licorice, maybe violet or clove, plus.... NIPITS are small. Come in a nice tin case. Have an impossible little flap system to release them piece by piece, Have NO resemblance to SEN SEN smell or flavor. Licorice flavor is not intense at all. THREW AWAY on second day.

Poor value
This item does not perform as advertised. The little pellets are so tiny you can barely get them in your mouth. They are so crisp that they seem like chewing or swallowing glass beads. They have little or no taste and little or no effect on the advertised aid. They are supposed to help the throat and the voice. You would need a lot of containers of them to even taste them let alone made a difference in your throat. They are advertised to be as good as sen sen. Whoever made that up has no idea what sen sen is like. I am very disappointed and can't believe that the seller does not stand behind their product. Be aware that this product is non returnable, so just flush it down the toilet if you don't like it and you have just donated to the sellers retirement fund.

You Can't Go Back
I was looking for a replacement for the wonderful sen-sens when I was a kid. Now, granted, my palette is not as robust as it was 60 years ago - but these seem weaker and not as tasty. I do two or three pellets of these to get any real flavor. Just sayin' - sen-sens was a nickel a pack...

Different from olde days
I like the strong licorice taste, but they dissolve quickly. I remember them being square chips and VERY dense. The case is great so only a few come out, and it won't open by accident in your pocket or purse. Good value, lots of small bits to refresh breath or cover over that nasty metallic taste from chemo!

Good for sore throat
I like the candy too. It can’t get too hot or will all melt together. Better than most cough drops.

Don't claim to be sen sen and they AREN'T
People saying these are good replacements for sen sen are misleading . These don't compare at all. The product is what it says it is- licorice. And that's it, no zip of anise taste sen sen had. So if your a licorice fan go for it but sen sen lover.. keep searching.
