what is the best way to remove the iPad from the case without damaging either?

Please check the instruction video: https://youtu.be/hemjRHQBWsE

Just got in the mail and it's all hard plastic. I can't imagine this not scratching my ipad. Has anyone had issues with this case causing scratches?

No, it won't. It can give your ipad full body prodection and protect your ipad from scratch in daily use.

Hi if I take my iPad out of this case many times will it scratch it or do any damage to the iPad ?

The first few times inserting and removing your iPad would be a bit tricky, but with practice you know how to insert and remove it without much trouble and without doing any damage to your iPad. It's a matter of getting the hang of it, and once you do, it should be pretty easy.
