This Revised Edition is worse than the original 1994 edition.
The font and images are ultra tiny. The collection of images in the sections 'gnomes', 'elves' and 'dialogue in action', which took up at least 2 pages in the original edition, now take up less than half a page, with some images measuring just 1-1.5 centimeters in size. You can't see several images unless you use a magnifying glass. Further, some instructions from the original edition are missing in this one. The number of pages have been reduced from 224 to 128, with no significant change in page dimensions (length, width & height). Buy the original 1994 edition if you can, as there's nothing new here anyways (the author died in April, 1995). AVOID THIS ONE. Amazon doesn't allow returns, just replacements, so I'm stuck with this.

Not bad at all.
I got the Kindle version for $5 lol The Kindle version, on an 11” iPad, is beautiful. Nice and clear images with many useful drawings that are good enough for a beginner like myself. And the writing is laid back and casual, not dry and academic. Very nice to read. Will this be the last book on animation I’ll ever buy? Probably not, but it’s a great book for the price I paid. Zero regrets. Love the Kindle app on a big screen.
