are these batteries made in usa

I received Duracell AAAs assembled in USA and made in Europe, probably Belgium, because Duracell has a plant there. The batteries and packaging were exactly the same as always.

What is the Date on these batteries now (2-13-2020)?

I purchased from Amazon one package of eight AAA with an expiration of March of 2028 and a package of twelve AA with an expiration date of March 2029. I have never had any trouble with Duracell Batteries.

What does double wide AAA battery mean?

That it is because there are 20 in a pack and not that of the usual 10 hence double wide AAA. If it was a totally different size all together it would state something other then AAA, AA, C, B or D etc. They are just a simple triple A batteries 10 x 2 = 20, like double mint gum, twice the fun etc.
