The frame in this kit seems to be pretty sturdy and well made. The glue seems to work well but unfortunately we had a mishap and ran out of the glue provided. Luckily other types of glue work for this craft. Once done it was a fun addition to any kids room.

I bought this kit for my 10-year-old daughter who is a "heavy-duty" crafter. We’ve tried various DIY kits that end up being too simple or far too frustrated, but this one hit the sweet spot for her age group. The Process: The instructions were clear enough that I didn't have to hover. She spent about 45 minutes meticulously placing the tiles. The adhesive included was strong enough to hold the glass pieces in place without them sliding around while she worked, which is usually my biggest complaint with these kits. Observations for Parents: Difficulty: Perfect for ages 8–12. Younger kids might need help with the spacing of the tiles to ensure they don't run out of room. The Mess Factor: It’s relatively contained, though I’d recommend laying down a silicone mat or newspaper for the grouting stage. Quality: The "glass" pieces aren't sharp, which was a relief. The final result actually looks like a piece of decor rather than just a "kid's project."

We received this as a gift an then got it for the next birthday party. I love one activity and done gifts so we don’t have to hold on to the box/pieces after kiddo has completed the craft!

Not great quality and the glue is terrible. I bought this for my 4 yr old granddaughter. She had fun creating the frame and since she’s 4, it wasn’t expected to look amazing or perfect, but it was even less than desired. I wish the glue worked better, it seemed partially dry, so it didn’t stick great and it dried white, so it’s visible. Fun craft though.

A good gift for a young kid who might be interested in craft work.

I purchased this in case I needed to occupy my daughter and a friend on a play date. They absolutely loved the activity and I would definitely buy it as a gift for somebody else. Unlike some craft sets there was plenty of glue and stones. I have found with some previous sets that there was not enough materials to actually fully complete the activity but that certainly was not the case with this set. The finished result is really lovely and actually useful too. Once finished the product can fit back into its original packaging so you could certainly do the activity with your child and then gifted the completed item to a relative (if like me you are inundated with creative projects and need to offload them somewhere!)
