I recently learned it's possible to buy high quality mixed olives in bulk for far less than the $15/lb you'd pay somewhere like Whole Foods. These are equal the quality you'd find in a gourmet grocery. As such, I now frequently snack on warm olives sauteed in quality oil. I prefer olives with the pits intact for this purpose, these pitted olives have a different texture. But still very good with a milder brine than the Roland bulk mixed olives-which are also very good.

These are absolutely the best olives I have ever eaten. They are not salty but retain so much flavor. Absolutely the best in breads. Great in sauces!

I liked the taste a lot, exactly what I expected.......it reminded me the original taste of south Italian olives. I took one star off because they were a little mushy, I like them crunchier. But that's my personal taste!

I read the reviews on these olives AFTER I received my 2-3# bags of them & because there were so many horrible reviews, I was feeling stupid for ordering them & ready to return them. But first I made a small slit in one bag for each my husband & I to cautiously taste one, thinking I would use strapping tape to close up the slit & send them back. We both loved them! The olives were firm & perfectly brined to taste. Please ignore these bad reviews. They are very tasty! We have both been on a Mediterranean diet for 10 yrs, so we know what we are looking for in Greek olives/mixed olives. 💕

Listing does not disclose that these are without pits. Listing should clearly disclose whole or pitted with special consideration for food items which are not returnable. The olive mix was found to be mushy with broken pieces. There is also an off taste either from some food preservative additive or exposure to light and heat.

Excellent olives better than anything at a regular grocery store. Some small pieces of pit but not many. I see some people said they are mushy. The batch I received was good.

Bought these olives for the special olive salad for Christmas Eve. My daughter and her family are traveling here and it's her favorite. The olives are total crap. MUSHY, NO FLAVOR!!!! They may look ok in the picture but can't serve them . Don't even deserve 1 star. Should have opened and checked them before today (12/24).

These olives are pitted and overly brined. This causes them to be rather mushy. Please see photo. The flavor is fine but I would not serve them to guests because they don’t look very good. I would not buy these olives again.
