The leaves are great and add alot of tannins to the water. In case you didn't already know, these are not for human consumption haha. My wife and I boil these down then add them to our tanks , they last a good while before they eventually break down/fall apart. It's adds good cover for smaller bottom feeders as well as a more lake type view in the tank. These were also alot bigger than I expected, definitely recommend!

So I bought these well over a year ago and I use them mainly for hospital aquariums (helping sick fishies feel better). My betta fish is sick again and when I was preparing these leaves for him, I realized that I never wrote a review. These leaves have helped save so many of my fish, that I think I owe them a good review. These are THE best Indian Almond Leaves I've ever bought from Amazon. The leaves vary in size from huge (nearly 10" long) to small (about 4" long) and you get a few dozen of them (I would estimate you get about 30-36 in a pack). I know there are people who will complain that some of the leaves have cracks and small holes, but these people need to comprehend that these are natural items that got shipped halfway across the world to your door. What is more important to me is that they're not completely broken and smashed, and these were packaged safely and arrived in near-pristine condition. The leaves are also very clean and dust free. I give them a quick rinse and a rub with hot water to sterilize and clean them before putting them in the aquariums and they've worked great. I would recommend these to anyone who needs Indian Almond Leaves. Don't buy them from your local box box store at inflated prices.

The leaves are huge and if you break them up into a few pieces the water turns brown which is great for the fish. The snails like to munch on them so it’s a good food source for them also .

Adds tannins and my shrimps love 'em. A few different sizes and a nice price.

I've tried different brands of these leaves and these are by far the best. They do release tannins (which is very good for aquariums) , but not a huge amount. I added four to my 55 gallon tank and they are holding up very well and look great. Nice size! My Cory's like to hide under them and my Oto's like to munch on the biofilm that has formed on them. Win Win!

Love this, but know that it is pretty big. I put one leaf inside a 20 gallon aquarium. Its about 9"x5" it floated at first, but soon sank. I didnt notice any difference in the water quality at all. It didnt make it darker or clearer, just didnt seem to make a difference. Its a high quality though. Came well packaged. And i got several of these big, intact leaves.

I've bought these countless times. They are naturally anti-bacterial and my fish like to hide underneath them. I simmer them first to soften them up a little. Then they will settle on the bottom of the tank faster.

Betta likes hanging out under the leaf as it floats on the surface. It is said to have antibiotic properties. Im not sure if i can confirm or refute it. One leaf is able to release tannins in the water making the water slightly yellow but mostly clear in a 18 gallon tank. If you add two leaves the water will have a darker yellow/brown tint. One leaf is huge. It lasts me a few weeks but can be replaced with a new leaf at the owner’s preference.

Great quality, super nice leaves. The leaves were clean and ready to use. They were also huge, which was nice. Released a good amount of tannins (turned water brown) which is what I got them for. My betta loves them, I’d buy them again.

Great deal on these leaves! Assortment of sizes, mostly very large but can be cut down. They absolutely release tannins, which is what I was looking for. Happy with the results.
