Great for design with MacBook Pro
I’m a graphic designer and recently got a MacBook Pro M1 15” model. This monitor has great color and contrast, especially at this price. I connected it to the computer with the supplied USB-C cable with no fuss, it just worked plug and play. The only change I made was to the sRGB profile in System Preferences => Displays. Colors are sharp and full gamut. This refurbished unit looked brand new and has worked great with no issues. Very happy with this so far. I don’t game with it at all so I can’t say anything about that, but for design purposes it’s perfect.

Best steal ever bought for a monitor!
I found this monitor while trying to explore options for budget friendly monitors for designers/artists, and boy did I get the jackpot! I knew that the ASUS Pro Art monitors had really good color calibration based on reviews I read outside of Amazon, and the claims hold true! This monitor is super crisp, color accurate, and I haven't found one bug (knock on wood) with this unit at all! Even for a renewed product, this performs excellent! I'm so far very happy with my purchase, and I glad I found it at the price I got. I feel like this was literally a steal!

Remember: Refurbished
The monitor was well packaged. Worked perfect out of the box. Color looked good. No noticeable scratches. Only negative was that it was missing a cable. Minor problem as I had a spare. Still….

Hot Garbage - Nothing Worked-Do not buy
This monitor unfortunately has a non-functioning usb-c port. The built in menus are different every time I look. Things are greyed out and not selectable, such as HDR. It's an HDR monitor but you can't use HDR. The screen is dim, colors are way off, and it is pixelated. I called ASUS support, which was a nightmare and they had me reset the monitor. It made everything worse. Every time the computer goes to sleep, when you wake it up, you get a menu asking about energy saving features. You have to fumble with awkward built in buttons to get it to go away every time. I just can't with this. It is not a professional monitor. It is not even a non-professional monitor. The resolution is what would have been considered good 20 years ago. I'm returning it and buying something else. I would recommend not wasting your time. The non-refurbished may be better, but Amazon's refurbishing program has just cost time and effort.

USB-C doesn't work
Great daily driver monitor but the USB-C doesn't work - tried doing the firmware update via Mac & PC but still couldn't get it to work which was why I got it in the first place. Now I use a dongle and HDMI to connect which is an annoyance.

Not a renew version
This is fault marketing! this is NOT a renew version!! This is an open box product ship straight to you! monitor flicker a lot , came in with all kind of scratches at monitor's chin and back. Missing USB-C cable. The screen look super dark compare to a new Proart monitor.Save your money for else where !!!

Disappointing experience, lousy speakers, cable doesn't fit Mac
I bought this as a second monitor to use with my 2021 Macbook Pro (14" M1) and felt thwarted at every step. Maybe for Windows users these issues will not matter, but it seems strange. First of all, the HDMI cable did not plug into my Mac. As you can see in the photo above, the Asus cable connector is about a millimeter too long and won't connect to the Mac. I tried two other third party cables (from an HP monitor and a BestBuy $6 cable) and those worked fine. However, the ASUS Monitor did not auto detect. Instead you have to select HDMI from the non-labeled front panel buttons that bring up a hidden monitor. Once I selected HDMI then it worked. I was disappointed that the speakers are barely audible over the overhead fan in my office. There's no volume control dial, instead after about 6 presses (if you're lucky!) you'll get to a volume control menu. Raising it from 50 to 100 made barely any difference. And this is with the Mac at full volume. It's kind of a joke. The speakers are about as loud as a whisper even at maximum volume. The picture quality is ok (better than the photo indicates) but contrast is not "best in class" by any means. It was a cheap monitor, but I am on the fence about keeping this. If you're expecting speakers, don't buy ASUS.
