Worth buying when it’s on offer
This is not my first time buying Napolina spaghetti, and I normally pick it up when Amazon has it on discount. Compared with the cheaper supermarket own-brand pasta we normally buy, I do notice a difference. It keeps a firmer texture, is easier to get properly al dente and does not go soft as quickly if you cook it a little longer than planned. It also seems to hold sauce better, especially with tomato or Bolognese-style sauces. Would I pay double the price of supermarket pasta every time? Probably not. Basic supermarket spaghetti still does the job. But Amazon regularly discounts this, and when the price comes close to an own-brand pack, I think it is absolutely worth choosing the Napolina instead. So for me this is a “buy when on offer” product rather than something I would pay a big premium for every week.
