Would buy and buy again
The best hobby knife ive used thus far. This blade is real sharp and makes cleaning kits a breeze. This has increased safety a lot since now I have more control when cutting. There are cheaper options but thereโs no better option.

Convenient packaging and safe disposal of used blades!
These are intended for the Olfa Art Knife AK1-5B, and are of very high quality. They are nicely provided in a plastic case which not only protects them and allows easy access, but contains a convenient disposal box where you can safely place used blades. They are nicely sharp and durable, and hold their edge a long time. Recommended!

Quality blades and a great price!
Love that this was an "add on" item! Which made it a couple bucks cheaper than anywhere else I could find them. Really like the quality and "stiffness" of the blades. It makes cutting a breeze. Will consider other Olfa products in the future.

"New" blades look almost identical to used/damaged blades when viewed under a microscope!
Used to buy a box of these a few times a year as needed, and they typically didn't disappoint. They always seemed sufficiently sharp (compared to other blades and/or brands) and worked well for general purpose hobby/work stuff. Having said that, I will probably be looking elsewhere for an alternative in the near future. Several days ago, I randomly decided to check out some brand new blades under my microscope and compare them to several used blades I had laying around. I wish I hadn't.... The used blades were obviously badly chipped, scratched, grooved, bent, dented, etc., but to my surprise, so were most of the "new" blades!! They looked like they had either been refurbished (old recycled blades got passed through a sharpener a few times to clean up damaged edges), or the original machines used to sharpen the blades for the first time were just really terrible! There were tons of "dimples" along the spine of the blade (almost as if a machine used tiny teeth to hold onto the blade, but slipped around during sharpening), lots of chips/dents on the sharp edge of the blades, and yet the parts that didn't have dents/dings looked just fine and sharp as one would expect from a new blade. This could just be my uninformed opinion, as I've never researched exactly how these blades are made, but after seeing what their "new" blades look like, I just can't see how the manufacturer is at all concerned with quality control! Lastly, I wonder if perhaps these blades are made by several different manufacturers, as well. I randomly receive blades that either consist of one solid piece of steel with the "OLFAยฎ" logo etched into the side, or a blade with nearly identical features, but also has a hole near the opposite end of the sharp point (aka the "bottom/rear" of the blade).
