Works well, even in outbuilding
I have a pair of homeplug thingies set up already from another brand but I wanted to get the wifi to reach into the garden. I found out that the powerline could still connect through the plugs in my outbuilding (even though it goes through another fusebox!) so this was the perfect kit. Setup was easy as far as getting it connected to the existing powerline adapters goes, but getting wifi set up was not so easy. So my existing setup was: 1x av1000 from another brand plugged into router 1x av1000 from another brand plugged in upstairs To this I added: 1x Mercusys MP510 (the unit with the aerials) in my outbuilding. Hit the WPS button on my router and when I connected an ethernet cable from the MP510 to my laptop it just worked straight away, plug and play. Getting wifi set up was harder. No matter what I pressed on the router or the MP510 it just wasn't cloning the wifi. In the end I logged in to the MP510 via ethernet and manually configured a new wifi network from there. The way I did that was to link up to ethernet, find the IP address of the MP510, hit that in a web browser and then you're into the config screens for the MP510. I found the IP address by logging into my router and seeing what IPs were connected to it. A circuitous route but it worked. End result is I get full speed wifi from anywhere in the garden, right up to the shed which is 15-20 meters from the MP510.

Pretty good
Although the WIFI in it is not dual-band as I probably misread from the advertisement, it is a pretty good equipment. I bought and returned the TP-Link option as it came faulty and decided to go for this brand that I have never heard before. Well, turns out it is a good equipment, very very easy to setup, very very easy to configure WiFi settings and it works pretty well (considering speed limitations due to the actual power line being really old in the house). I would recommend this product as a very good affordable option.

BB Speed
It was very easy to connect with my Hub. The speed was very impressive for both WiFi & Ethernet connections. You have to plug in the mains (socket on the wall ) and no extension.

Easy to setup and It provides fast stable wifi where there was none before.
We've just had a garden room built, the armoured mains connection cable is some 40M long - but I plugged one device in near the modem and connected it with the supplied ethernet cable - took the other adapter to the garden room and plugged it in and hey presto I'm getting 70Mb wifi in the garden room ( my main connection is 100Mb) my wifi was really hit and miss in the house before - but this new device in the garden room is fast and reliable. Really pleased with it. Have strong wifi coverage all over the garden now too.

So frustrating!!!
This wasn't initially hard to set up. The pair process is easy and then it's plug and play. The issue that I had was then unifying it with my existing networking using the SSID. There's a button on the bottom of the extender to do this and it's meant to be as simple as pressing WPS on my router. However, when doing that the extender light would go orange (processing) and get stuck there. I reset the extender and tried again and got the same. Completely useless. Returning and trying a different brand.

Works well
Was quite easy to set up, though you have to watch that both units are connected to the same Consumer Unit. Good powerful Wi-Fi signal. Very occasionally has lost connexion, but sorts itself out.

Extended WiFi
Excellent piece of kit, easy to install and extended my WiFi out to my workshop where it provides an excellent connection for my Ring security cameras. Added bonus, the WiFi range now extends to the bottom of my garden if needed (140ft from the house).

The wifi does not work.
Needed this product for the internet for my office as the wifi does not reach the back of the house. The instructions were fairly easy to understand and was fairly easy to set up albeit a little confusing on when the connection was actually stable. When using the ethernet port it works perfectly however with only 1 port on the extender you cannot connect multiple devices so you're limited to only 1, nor is it compatible with a ethernet splitter and it generally severs the connection from both devices running. A workaround for this would be using the wifi extender aspect of the product which it states is included, however when going through the instructions and following them to the letter it does not work at all, it states to use the same password as your wifi but the password is incorrect each time. If you need this product for 1 device it is perfect, however I would not recommend using it for multiple devices. Search around a bit and maybe spend a little more on a product with a proven track record.
