Its a good product

Great product, a little goes a long way.
The scent is a little stronger than I’m used to but smells nice. This blends in really well and you can feel softness immediately after use. It isn’t sticky and seems to be great quality. So far so good and I’m noticing some improvement with only a couple days use. I don’t have a tons of aging signs at just under 40. But love how my skin feels after applying this on. Packaging is great and very nice looking and it’s a heavy glass jar.

Beautiful packaging, floral/geranium scent
This renewal crème is beautiful packaged and comes in a glass jar. I always take a picture of the ingredients of a skin care product and run it through Decode INC which analyzes ingredients and gives you information on them. This product’s ingredients are top-notch! I really like the fact that it does not have retinol since retinol makes my face itch like I have poison oak. A little goes a long way and my skin feels very hydrated and not sticky. The only thing is the scent, which is nicel, is a little strong for me. I am scent sensitive and prefer either little to no scent. Understanding that they use lotus flower, I expected that scent, but the scent is actually derived from Pelargonium Graveolens (Geranium) Oil and Rosa Damascena (Rose) Oil. Rose oil is known for its antioxidant and antimicrobial/antibacterial benefits, but geranium oil is just used for perfuming a lotion. If this did not have geranium oil, I would give it 5 stars.

Rich indulgent night cream with a characteristic scent
It’s a scent I typically associate with rose water, but I guess in this case it might be lotus flower. Has several other botanicals, so I suppose it can be a combination of multiple things. If you don’t like scented skincare, you won’t like this. Texture is rich, viscosity almost solid, melting into your skin. A little goes a long way, so use less than you think you need. Ingredients also include multiple oils, so this is a nourishing formula, which I personally will only use at night. Presentation is luxurious and glass jar substantial.

Thoroughly, just a disappointment.
I cannot begin to tell you how excited I was to try the Ranavat Renewing Bakuchi Creme. As someone who used to work in the beauty industry and as someone who now has sensitive skin, I do not get excited by moisturizers very often. Toners, essences, and serums? Absolutely. But the moisturizers I like are few and far between. Due to my sensitivity, I can no longer use retinol, so the plant based alternative, bakuchiol, always excites me. And I have to admit that the $95 price for this creme had me thrilled to try it. But to start off, I was puzzled that I could hear the bottle sliding back and forth inside of the box and after I opened and broke the seal (or so I thought) by carefully pulling the sticker up so that I didn't tear anything, I was disappointed to find that the cardboard had apparently collapsed from the weight of the bottle inside the box and what would have been beautiful packaging was now ruined. I'm a sucker for packaging but I told myself only the product mattered anyway. I opened the bottle, lifted off the plastic interior and found a gaping hole in the middle of the creme where it looked like someone had used their finger or nail to pull some out. I was super disappointed. Maybe who ever used it before lied about using it because they wanted to return it easily, and even I was convinced the seal hadnt been broken, though I was surprised at how easily the seal lifted up. But if nothing else, didn't they notice that the heavy bottle was sliding back and forth inside? Now, only the fact that I worked in beauty and I am used to using testers on myself and clients enabled me to not be too disgusted to try something that had obviously been touched, but I was and am still disappointed. No matter what, it cheapens the experience. Anyway, so after applying my toner, essence and serum, I used a spatula to scoop out some creme and applied it to the right side of my face and used my regular moisturizer on the left. Immediately, I was distracted by the scent. Besides Bakuchi seed for wrinkles and ashwaganda for protection from environmental stressors, lotus flowers are used to hydrate and soothe. Well I can tell you right now, the smell of the lotuses is insanely strong and I can usually ignore scents. It took over an hour before it stopped bothering me. More alarming, my skin burned and lightly tingled for a good twenty minutes after application. This was not unbearable by any means but who wants to deal with that on a regular basis? I examined my skin closely and the side with the creme was definitely redder than the other side. The directions say that you can use this day and night, but this is literally one of the thickest cremes I have ever tried. I would never use this during the day. I can't say that this creme is worth the value of $95. I think there are plenty of cremes with bakuchiol that cost a lot less that wouldn't burn, and I wouldn't have to deal with a creme that is too thick. I simply don't think the quality is there. I think this would work for the type of woman that is extremely dry, is not sensitive and loves floral scents. That, however, is definitely not me.

Gorgeous product, lovely presentation
Others have commented on the price, and each person needs to decide if a product is worth the cost. I really like this bakuchi based cream as I am a big fan of bakuchiol as a retinol alternative and I often use it at night on dry skin. This very moisturizing cream is heavy, so definitely a nighttime routine type of cream! It has a lovely scent, which so far has not interfered with my sleep or caused any issues for me. I still have the box it came in because it just feels too pretty to toss! I can see this making an exquisite gift if I wasn't keeping it for myself.

Made in India
This is the most luxurious skin care product. It is made in India and is my second Indian skin care product. It is packaged in a very elegant way. The jar is pretty and heavy. The cream has a lovely floral fragrance and does not irritate my sensitive skin. I just love it and can't wait to try other Indian skin care products.

Give this one a shot for sure!
I've been really pleased with the results! The texture is lightweight and absorbs quickly into my skin without feeling greasy. It left my face feeling hydrated and smooth throughout the day. I've noticed a visible improvement in the overall brightness of my complexion, and it didn’t irritate my sensitive skin at all. Plus, it has a subtle, pleasant fragrance that’s not overwhelming. Overall, I would definitely recommend this cream to anyone looking for an effective moisturizer. It’s a great addition to my skincare routine!
