Ordered these AMERICAN-grown organic hazelnuts for my exotic birds. They are of incredible quality, MUCH better than the “unknown” ones I previously purchased from overseas vendors. After much research, I discovered there is really NO regulation on overseas vendors, and so the huge difference in quality that I noticed made sense. I also have NO idea as to the possible use of pesticides of the strange looking (and smelling) ones that I had previously purchased. The lack of regulations of overseas growers really scared me, never mind the huge difference in quality between what I use to order (from overseas) and these yummy ones from the USA. Anyway, I highly recommend this brand! My birds love them, and I feel much safer about what I am feeding them.

These remind me of the wild hazelnuts I used to pick and eat as a kid. They're fresh and taste like the nuts I remember.. I've tried two other brands but these have the most flavor. I'm ordering a larger bag the next time.
