If you can’t get a 1/8” collet you need these!
I upgraded my FoxAlien Masuter Pro with a compact router to replace the underpowered 60W spindle motor that it came with. The only issue was, the router only came with a 3/8” and 1/4” collets which was fine for my 1/4” shaft bits but not my 1/8” shaft bits. And there wasn’t an option to purchase a 1/8” collet for that router. I saw these 1/4” to 1/8” adapters to use with my 1/4” collet and was hoping they would work. Well I must say, after I did a 30 minute carve, not only did they work but held the 1/8” shaft bit tight and ran true. No noticeable wobble and the carve came out perfect! I highly recommend these adapters if your compact router doesn’t have an 1/8” collet.

Perfect for using 1/8" dremel bits in a compact router
Many times a dremel tool isn't powerful enough for heavy duty grinding and cutting. I have a nice 1/4" router/shaper that is small and powerful. All I needed was a way to use the 1/8 tools in a 1/4" chuck and this was the perfect solution. They hold the 1/8" shaft perfectly and was exactly what I needed. Definitely recommend...

Finally!
In my very limited experience, a Roto-Zip spiral bit does a great job at cutting plastics, and is a fraction of the cost of a router bit one might use for the same task. The problem for me has been the Roto-Zip tool has a small base that makes it unstable for trimming plastic sheets accurately. I'm glad I can now adapt the spiral bits to a router, which adds so many options for ripping plastic to size. A masonry blade on a miter saw also works beautifully for crosscuts.

Definitely recommend this product! I’ve had zero issues with broken bits!
at first I was hesitant to buy these because of a couple reviews claiming they would break your bits due to being out of round or not perfectly machine, but I’m happy to say I have never had a broken bit from this product and I use my CNC router almost daily. One more thing, considering I have had these for several months I’ve never worn one of them out. They perform as well as they did the first time I used them.. Definitely recommend this product!

About what you'd expect for the price.
They add about 2 thousandths runout to your bits. That's fine for soft woods and plastic, but can effect your surface finish and burn up your bits a little faster in hard woods or brass if you push them too fast.
