I got this after a vacation week with a good bit of drinking involved. I have an old schoolmate who has some liver issues and it really opened my eyes to the importance of liver health. Easy to follow and stick to detox. Goes down easy and doesn’t make me gag. That’s important! Works well to keep my liver functioning great, milk thistle is good for the old liver! Take care of it since you only have one.

At the outset, I note that it's impossible to tell whether a particular supplement is working as advertised without blood tests or other objective evidence. That said, I have used milk thistle in the past with tremendous results, as evidenced by "before" and "after" blood tests, so I assume this works as advertised. The supplement also contains a number of other herbs that are supposed to help liver function, including chicory, arkuna bark, and yarrow herb. One reservation I have about this product is that the label does not specify how much of each herb is in a dose. Given that the dose is fairly large, I assume that there is a decent quantity of each (and I hope that there's a lot of milk thistle), but I can't tell. As far as taste - it's not "herby" - a bit sweet and maybe, well, fruity? But inoffensive - less taste than, say, cough syrup but a similar texture and taste. At $16.99, this is a bit pricey for daily consumption, especially if you are taking other supplements. That said, I do think this is worth getting and taking periodically to ensure proper liver function.
