OK, it's not made to the same standards as a more expensive torch like a Petzl or LED Lenser but for the price this is excellent. It's really bright and being rechargeable (with a micro USB lead as used for most mobile phones) makes it easy to keep it topped up so it's ready for use any time. I don't like throwing away part-used non-rechargeable batteries as it seems like a waste, so deciding when to replace the batteries in a normal torch is a balancing act between wasting resources and putting up with a gradually dimming torch. That's not the case with this one - plug it in every now and then and it's always fully charged. Plus the fact that it uses a lithium battery means high capacity with low weight and no memory effect so it's perfectly fine to top it up any time. The beam consists of a really quite narrow, very bright section in the middle with a wider, much less bright area surrounding it. The wide area is easily bright enough to see where you're walking or what you're doing close up and the narrow brighter beam is great for looking further ahead as you would to see where a path leads in the dark. More expensive head torches seem to smooth out the transition between the bright/narrow part and the less bright/wide parts a bit better, but for the price I'm not worried. There are 4 modes which are accessed by sequential presses of the single top-mounted button, in this order: 1: Bright white 2: Dim white 3: Flashing white 4: Red You have to cycle through all modes to get back to the off position. Not a problem for me but worth knowing about. The only area I can't comment on yet is longevity, only having owned it for a few days, but I see no reason why it shouldn't last a good while if looked after properly. Recommended!

This is a nice lightweight head torch. Perfect for short or long duration use, the light is nice and bright, although the very bright operation is blinding if your at the other end of the beam! and you will probably use the 'dim' option for routine, walking use (which extends the battery life). The switch easy to find when wearing and headband is comfortable. Importantly the rechargeable batteries charge up pretty quickly and I use a power pack charged via a solar panel to charge the torch, the charge lasted all week with regular use. The light switch goes to high beam as the first option, then to 'dim', which is my go to option, then to strobe, then to red, which is great for using in and around the campsite when you want to talk to people without blinding them. Ideally I would prefer the red option first, but its not that bigger deal, the only thing I would have liked to have seen as part of this purchase would have been a storage pouch. Overall this head torch is a great little unit.

I bought one for a gift and was so impressed that I bought a second for myself. I use it when walking the dog and have to say that the ability to recharge this rather than replace batteries is a fantastic benefit. The torch is very bright and the fact that the light is adjustable means that it would be very useful if you were walking, running or cycling. The strap is comfortable and fits easily over a woolly hat. I bought this when it was reduc3ed in price was it was a fantastic bargain. Delivery was very speedy and the communications from Aennon was very good. Would definitely recommend the head torch and would absolutely use this supplier again.

With these long winter nights upon us, walking the dog in the dark suddenly becomes a little less appealing and troublesome this time of year. This is especially true when you want to let them loose as much as is safe and possible as I do to maximize their exercise and give them a little freedom. Bought this as 'mid-tier' headlight I would say, not the cheapest of all, but not the top of the range 'Splinter Cell' type ones you can get at more expensive price points. The light is pretty good, very bright to the point you can clearly see what it's pointed at and a little around it, the field of illumination isn't very wide though, you can easily see where you're going, but the peripherals aren't as well lit as I'd hoped. The strap is foolproof and of good quality all while being easily adjustable. There are four settings : brightest light, dimmer light, fast flash and red, simply scroll through the settings using the same button. Charging is simple, stick it in and find a USB source (NOTE - there is only a USB cable, no actual plug to put in a normal socket), with a nice little rubber/plastic cover to keep it clean. Loses one star because of a lack of a tilt/light adjustment mechanism, I tend to walk like most people with my head up looking at where I'm going as opposed to downwards at my feet, the way the light rests (on my head anyway) is so that I have to bend my head downwards slightly to see what's immediately in front of me, one thing to improve and I think at this price it is not unreasonable to expect one as it is not cheap cheap.

JUST AWESOME I've had a few energizer bad boys but this is the nutz. The LED's are so bright, it lasts a good while and charges quickly. I wish I'd have got this before my energisers, messing around with low batteries etc, this one either works brightly, or it goes OFF meaning time to recharge. It's comfy & the button action is good. Seems pretty well built too. Only SLIGHT gripe is that you have to cycle a few clicks through other modes to turn off (if using normal [1] or low beam [2]), not sure how they'd get around that but it's something for them to design. Do bare in mind if you want super duper strong hiking/biking/fishing/hunting type stuff or more outdoors long range stuff/long life you may need to get a bit more serious kit with more lumens and battery packs etc. I think this lies somewhere in the mid range DIY area. Like dog walks, DIY/hobby lighting, or just if you're like me, lazy to turn the lights on and off for a midnight fridge run (also being a spec ops ninja etc).

This is a great head torch, I use it for running and to find my horse in the field. It has a strong directional beam on the highest setting and can pick out the horses eyes glowing in the dark so I can find him no problem. I tried it out on a 5 mile run last week, the torch is lightweight but I was still worried about it slipping down my forehead while I was pounding the roads and getting a bit warm and sweaty but it was fine, didn't move, the lower setting was fine for running. You just need to get used to wearing it but it was fine, I will definitely use it for running again through the winter. This is very good value, easy to charge so you don't need to keep replacing batteries which I seemed to be doing constantly with my other head torches. Not the most flattering thing to wear but when you are running or mucking about with horses flattering gets thrown on the nuclear. I don't usually take the time to write reviews but thought this wee torch was worthy of it.

A great lightweight powerful headtorch with enough modes for every use, the tilting feature is good and the headband seems sturdy which is good, used it for about a week while camping and the battery lasted ages which surprised me a lot, The best bit thought ,The Price!!! very good deal for a good headtorch nevermind the facility to charge it with a micro usb cable which means its so easy to charge with most adapter we have lying around and also means if you are in remote areas for a while it can be charged off a power bank. a very good item, it does feel a bit mass produced, but has not let me down yet after a 10 day expedition and a weeks camping both with considerable use, would recommend

I'm more than happy with this headtorch. Firstly, the price point for this is good, and it represents very good value for what I paid. The communication with the sellers has been very good, but have had no problems so can't comment on the customer service. That said, I feel confident they would resolve any issues. Delivery was very fast indeed, and I think mine came within two days. Now for the torch. I'm very impressed with it. The light is powerful on its highest setting, and although you can't vary the size of the beam I don't find this a drawback. It has three white light modes including strobe, and also two red LEDs. Though very light in weight, it appears robust. I really like the usb charge feature. No more batteries! All in all, a great piece of kit, a very good all round lamp, and superb service from the sellers.

Received faulty head torch- focus light and Red lamps not glowing, fittings, and body quality also not good. Very disappointing.

La Torcia appare già caricata. 4 modalità: luce intensa, media, lampeggiante e luci rosse. Sono circa 220 lumen, ma ben orientati, in quanto il fascio di luce è estremamente comodo nel camminare al buio, anche in modalità luce media. Molto interessanti le luci rosse, perché sono piuttosto intense e, quindi, utili in caso di nebbia. Il materiale elastico è resistente e solida è la scocca che contiene i led. Dopo la prima passeggiata, il giudizio è ottimo. Aggiornerò la recensione dopo un uso prolungato. The product came packed in a cardboard box with the headband, a 15cm USB cable and a synthetic, but very easy-to-understand set of instructions (in English). The Torch appears already charged. 4 modes: intense, medium, blinking and red lights. They are about 220 lumens, but well oriented, as the beam of light is extremely comfortable in walking in the dark, even in medium light. Very attractive red lights, because they are rather intense and therefore useful in the fog. The elastic material is durable and solid is the body that contains the LEDs. After the first walk, the judgment is great. I will update the review after prolonged use.

- wirklich hell genug, zwei Stufen zum Stromsparen - super Ausleuchtung, in der Mitte ein sehr heller Spot, drum herum ein sehr breiter (geschätzt 45-60 Grad) Weitwinkelkreis zur Umfeldausleuchtung - USB-Ladetechnik - ich liebe es! - leicht und angenehm zu tragen (so wie die Petzl Tikka, die ich vorher hatte, aber leider mit Batterien und eher schwach...) - gute Rastung zum Runterschwenken - das Rotlicht lasse ich in der Dämmerung (wenn ich eigentlich selbst kein Licht mehr brauche) beim Hunde-Gassi-Gehen immer an, um besser gesehen zu werden und niemanden zu blenden. - großer Bedienknopf, sollte auch mit Handschuhen gehen - von dieser Stirnlampe sollte man gleich mehrere haben! Einziges kleines Manko: als Brillenträger störte mich das Streulicht nach unten auf die Brille, was immer Reflexionen erzeugte. Mit einem kleinen ca. 4 mm breiten schwarzen Isolierbandstreifen unten auf die Linse geklebt, war auch das schnell behoben. Nicht-Brillenträger werden es ggfs. sogar schätzen, dass der Streulichtkreis um den Spot herum so groß ist, weil es zum Arbeiten mit den Händen perfekt ist. P.S.: ich habe nicht billiger bekommen und schreibe diese Rezension freiwillig. Weder verwandt noch verschwägert... ohne Geschmäckle! KLARE KAUFEMPFEHLUNG! Edit 27.09.16: sowohl beim Nachtradeln (aufgeklebt auf Pedelec S - Helm) als auch beim Hunde-Gassi-Gehen in der Nacht Erfahrungen gesammelt: GENIAL!!! Beim Radeln (natürlich nur auf privaten Wegen wg. StVO...) ist es eine perfekte Ergänzung zu meinem Fahrradlicht, da etwa gleich hell, aber "Kurvenlicht"-tauglich und ich dahin sehen kann, wo ich auch den Kopf hinwende (bisher hatte ich am Helm eine viel zu helle LED-Leuchte - heller als mein Autolicht - mit separatem Akku. Diese Leuchte jedoch reicht völlig aus und ist viel einfacher in der Handhabung. Lässt sich gut mit Handschuhen bedienen.

Utilizo mucho las linternas frontales para algo que quizás pueda sorprender un poco, como es leer por la noche en la cama. Estas linternas permiten a los aficionados a esta actividad, como es mi caso, no molestar a tu pareja con una luz fija en la mesilla de noche, concentra muy bien la luz en un foco pequeño que facilita una lectura muy cómoda y agradable. Hasta ahora he ido probando varios modelos y o pesaban mucho, o tenían una escasa movilidad del foco y todos con el coste añadido de las pilas. Esta linterna sorprendentemente resuelve todos esos inconvenientes: tiene muy poco peso, un dato de gran importancia cuando lees, una cinta magnífica que te sujeta muy bien sin apretar, con lo que es muy cómoda y ergonómica. La carga dura mucho, a la vez que se realiza en muy poco tiempo y tiene varios tipos de iluminación que cuando la usas para actividades del aire libre te permiten diversas opciones según tus necesidades. El servicio de Amazon como siempre, y el del vendedor en este caso excelentes. Hasta ahora la mejor linterna que tengo. Totalmente recomendable.
