Easy to learn. Sounds great and does have great options. I know different amps you get different sounds. If you run the pedal as a pre amp it sounds great. I also run it through my amp to add options. Both ways is fun and you come up with some killer riffs. There is a lot of competition when it comes to pedals. I went with Boss because they always had that sound I like and I can get. Several great distortion options. I'm s sucker for great distortion. You will have to get filmiliar with it to like it or you will never play on it if you're not electronically inclined. Like my first processor in the early 90's. I was to lazy to learn it so I never really played it. Gave it away and I regret it today. It's not hard to learn. Read everything, go over it several times if you have to. You will appreciate it. I use this every time I play.

I'm really amazed at how much this product offers at such a reasonable price. Sound quality is excellent - once you set the proper Output Select value, anyway. Do this first; it makes a huge difference in sound quality. After that, you'll probably find that a fair number of selections in the default patch library are quite useful, with more providing a good starting point for (almost) any tone you're seeking. Editing is easy and this unit really encourages you to experiment. I'd personally like the default patch output levels to be higher (increasing volume can make a huge difference in tone quality) and, of course, MIDI, but whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned pro, there's an awful lot to like here. I've been using Boss pedals for decades, and I have a lot of them - and this one is highly recommended!

I have absolutely no complaints on this boss pedal. Best thing I have bought in my guitar playing time other than my Gibson lol. Wish the two cannot be compared. Anyway everything about this pedal is sick. From the operation of every function and the fact you can edit every single effect to your own liking. The computer software is actually one of my favorites you can download all kinds of effects off the app once you download it to your computer. Side note it works very very well very easy to use. Boss products are top of the line anyway. But in my opinion this one beats all those little tiny petals then you would have to build a board for. This has all of that in one unit and for the price is dumb not to get it. Stupid...

Great product

Great intro level multi-effects pedal. I upgraded after about 8 years from a zoom gt2.1 to this and am pleasantly surprised with how multieffects pedals have improved. This pedal has tons of features for a more power level user such as guitar simulation, tons of preamps, and eq specifications, but also has pretty clear entry level stuff with just overdrive/distortions and some cool fxs. The software is ok and works on my 2015 mac. I will say that it is more convenient to use the software if you plan on making a lot of adjustments compared to the actual pedal. The presets are ok, but like most multi pedals need to be reworked. The downloadable presets from Boss in my opinion are NOT good. There are very few presets available and there is not a community webpage where people can uplaod presets which is unfortunate. Volume pedal seems good and responsive so far after about 3 months, but occassionally does squeak upon pressing it down. one aesthetic con that annoys me is that there is no off switch. I dont want to leave my pedal on all the time so i constantly have to unplug the power source from the pedal which is annoying. Also looper function is not super convenient, but is still nice to have. Compared to my old zoom pedal this does not have any drum machine function, but does allow you change the order that the effects are arranged in (i.e. can change the order so that its OD -> FX1 -> guitar or FX1 -> OD -> guitar) Overall 4 stars because of some minor annoyances and problems, but very sturyd, well designed pedal with tons of options for the price. Not a super expensive multi effects pedals but has all the options you could ever want and need for a live show. Also battery usage is convenient.

i’m a drummer but i like guitar as well. not knowing a lot about setting up pedals, i found the presents to be pretty good sounding as they were. then i went to the sites for tone central and the tone exchange and you can find very good presets from other users and download them into the pedal. if you have the knack for it you can upload them for others to try out and use. but the sound of the pedal has been inspiring to write new stuff, which for me is the whole point of having it. i like that i can play it into headphones without an amp, run it as an interface and/or midi with usb, and that plugging in the guitar turns it on. i do wish the adapter came with it, seek that out as well.

I already had OD, distortion, compression/sustain, chorus (rarely use), and a noise gate, was looking for something to add all the other types of foot pedals. Well, this covers all the ones I already have, and does it wonderfully. Not even using the others (though, might put the comp/sust in line). I can get all the types of OD and distortion I want, including Boss and Ratt. Lots of different reverb and delay, which I love. Tube screamers, wah, you name it. Sound is fantastic. Only downside is you cannot easily play with "knobs" and change the type and effects like you would for a footpedal. Say, like with reverb. Can't quickly switch between, spring, plate, etc, as well as depth. But, then, do you really do that? There are great patches you can download to give sound. Got one for Pink Floyd sound, Megadeath, Iron Maiden, Hendrix, so far. Then you can go and create your own, which I need to do. It was well worth the money. Definitely order the cable to connect it to your computer

The Boss GT-1 is arguably the best guitar processor available at this price point! Checked out tones of reviews before buying it and Solid build quality, looks and feels premium and is super easy to use. The built-in tones are awesome and really convenient to customise. Slightly disappointed that the looper is only 32 seconds, but does the job in most cases. Incredibly portable as it works in battery and DC both. If you're looking for an easy to use guitar processor which comes with an the bells and whistles, has great build quality, offers amazing collection of legendary tones and is super portable, look no further. At around INR18000 before discounts, this is a steal! Kudos to the seller for a smooth and timely delivery.

Muy buena y de variados efectos, aunque el manual que trae es sencillo y muy básico en internet puedes encontrar mas tutoriales para sacar el 100% de provecho, la calidad se nota en el plastico y metal, se siente fuerte y luce muy padre encendida, es practica de buen tamaño, sus sonidos también son de mucha calidad, me ha gustado mas que los modelos MUG y la aplicación de Estudio Tone Central tambien es muy facil de usar, ademas que existen páginas que ya tienen los parches listos para bajar (algunos de paga) para que no tengas que preocuparte por la configuración! Es ideal para una primera pedalera o incluso para semi profesionales y hasta mas alla.

初めてのマルチで購入。届いた後電源ケーブルがついていないことに気が付いた。まあ、自分の確認不足である。 操作に関してはやっぱりドライバを入れてパソコンから操作したほうが効率が段違いにいい。

Der Artikel wurde schnell geliefert. Das Effektgerät ist aus meiner Sicht top. Letztendlich ist der Sound das entscheidende für mich und der ist hervorragend. Eine enorm große Vielfalt an Möglichkeiten zum Editieren der Sounds. Das ganze aufzuzählen würde den Rahmen sprengen. Für mich ein sehr professionelles Gerät. Leider gibt es kein Netzschalter, so dass das Gerät nur funktioniert wenn ein Klinkenstecker im Eingang angeschlossen wird. Alles in allem aber sind 5 Sterne für mich trotzdem in Ordnung.
