Will this work for 1/8 ?

Yes, however 1/8" cable is entering a level of security which these pliers were not designed for. Will they work? Yes. Should they be used on 1/8"? No.

Will this connect 17 gauge aluminum wire for electric fence

This is 1/8" 7x19 guy wire mostly used for antennas towers ......could it be used for electrical fencing...I don't know......why would you?

Will this also cut stainless steel clothesline cable?

Unlikely. I’d go with an abrasive cut off wheel for stainless. Also, just avoid this product period as the company does not care if the description is inaccurate.

Can this be used to repair electric fencing for horses ?

A temporary repair only...the aluminum clips would not last but a season. Should not be used on the older style high pulse units. This could start fires. So I guess my answer is not. Stick with your same wire repairs. Be sure to use not for than one twist on the wire.
