I was very disappointed with this cast iron pan. It cracked while I was using it under normal cooking conditions, without any misuse or extreme heat. A cast iron pan is supposed to be durable and long-lasting, but this one failed very quickly. Because of this, it feels unsafe to use and not worth the money. I expected much better quality. I would not recommend this product.

I’m writing this after using it for making dosa. And I am happy as it is heavy tawa so takes time to heat but after once done. The dosa was so crisp and cooked evenly. Also tried chila that also nice. Also not so much oil required for cooking on it. Just need to grease on the first time Really loved this tawa. Also it is cooking friendly

Disappointing Experience with The Indus Valley Cast Iron Tawa I recently purchased The Indus Valley Cast Iron Tawa, excited to try it out for the first time. Unfortunately, my experience has been extremely disappointing. On its very first use, after just three to four minutes on the gas stove with a small amount of oil, the tawa cracked. I was shocked, especially since cast iron is supposed to be durable and long-lasting. I followed all the care instructions properly, but it still failed to perform as expected. It's incredibly frustrating to invest in a product that breaks right out of the box. Based on my experience. I would not recommend this tawa to anyone looking for a reliable and sturdy cooking tool. Definitely not worth the money.
