Perfect for the DIY keep a spare for future use.
I have two AC units and repair guy charged $300 to replace a $15 cap. Took him 5 minutes to change it. So I ordered one on Amazon. Quick and easy to replace. I was up and running in 5 minutes after simple install. Save time and money by DIY If your heat pump outdoor fan wont turn and makes a humming noise, chances are its your Cap failed. Lock out the power source and look to see if your cap is deformed and bulged out on the top or bottom. Order the same size. Take a picture of wiring, move wires over one by one and Install the same way easy. up and running fast.

Perfect replacement and cool house again
This was the perfect replacement capacitor for my AC. After a few YouTube videos (and prayer), the switch was easy and my home is cool again. So glad I found this.

Common replacement
I’m not handy but I was able to replace this on my exterior home AC condenser with the help of YouTube. A failed capacitor is the most common reason for the AC condenser to stop working suddenly. It was easy to do this but beware that the old capacitor can hold electricity when the power is off so make sure to discharge that prior to touching the wiring of the AC condenser (if needed). Usually it is not an issue. Product works well!

Works!!
So glad we ordered this when the fan stopped working We did a bit of research and thought it might be the capacitor. We were without a/c for about 3 weeks during the hottest time of the year til we decided to take a shot and order. Turns out we were right. The fan is now working and it been about 2 weeks since we switched it out no issues.
