Brilliant, trays easy to clean,. Does the job

Excellent steamer. Flexible to use eg 1, 2, or 3 baskets. Great feature allowing water to be added during steaming if it gets low. Easy to use and stacks quite small when not in use. In my opinion the food cooked in it has more taste and a better texture. I would recommend this item.

I bought this as a replacement for my Tefal Steam Cuisine bought several years ago but now at the end of its life (leaking and clock unreliable). I have had a good few years of service from it though. When choosing a new steamer it had to be one that was compact so it would fit on the cupboard shelf and this seemed to be the only one that 'stacks down'. I've been using it for over a week now and I am getting the hang of the differences between this and the old model. The baskets are much more robust and seem to be bigger. However, there are some 'niggly' changes which are not as good as the old model. The power light is not very bright and the minute markers on the timer have gone. In fact the whole timer could be more accurate especially when steaming vegetables such as cabbage and french beans. There are three holes in the lid which are rather large and a lot of steam escapes. Looking at the instructions (pictures only) it seems the lid can be used as a stand for the baskets but I'm not sure how this works and don't want to try too hard in case it breaks. I do like the way I can hide it in a cupboard when not in use and it seems to cook food ok. I've yet to try dumplings in it and I'm hoping it will be easier to clean than the old one. (Fat from dumplings used to get stuck in the basket holes and of course had to be cleaned carefully from the drip tray.) Why has Tefal changed some of the good points on the old model? eg not as easy to grasp at each side when lifting up into the cupboard. I'm sure I will get used to it though.

The steamer is simple to use and simple to store, you can easily dismantle the 3 tiers and put it away when you are done using it so it takes less space to store away. It's simple to use and compartments are dishwasher safe. Produces delicious food that doesn't lack nutrients. You can easily make a meal just by using the 3 tiers which will save you time. The only concern is that if you are using spices that can stain the plastic such as paprika or curry it will stain the plastic but it doesn't hinder the effectiveness of the product. Its relatively quiet and effective little cooker that produces healthy meals and I'm very happy with mine!

This Tefal Steamer is Good value right now as it has a large reduction. I have always used a Tefal steamer, since they first came out. I had an accident with mine, so sadly I had to replace my old faithful..... These new ones are muvh better, as the bases of the dividers are solid bases. the previous models, can and do come apart, after a while they don't seem to want to stay clipped together. So these fixed ones are better, a new modification makes it easier to top up the steamer if needed. The containers are not oale green see through now but a musted white so nit quite so easy to see through, I do prefer the clear vision. But its not a deal breaker. It is very easy to wash after use, all food particles are easily removed. The size seems to be a little neater too, sl7ghtly more oval and less deep. Everything still cooks fast and even if you put the l8nger cooking items in the bottom and quicker veggies at the top And it all stacks down neatly when not in use. I am delighted with it.

Pros: it is indeed compact and easy to stow away neatly. It looks great with a sleek design and the brand has a good reputation. It steams as it should and works well and is easy to use. Bowls, tray and lid are dishwasher safe apparently (I just hand wash them though as I worry about misshaping) It was a good price on offer at £39.99. Cons: at first I thought the (number 1) plastic bowl didn’t slot into the tray properly, but it’s just a very snug fit and needs clicking properly into place. On the water indicator it isn’t that easy to see the level. The black tray fits fine when cool but when very hot it looks like it comes away from the device slightly but not enough to leave a gap so I can live with it. Eventually the plastic bowls will discolour I’m sure; they always do on steamers, I wish these companies sold replacement parts.

Love this steamer ,would recommend to people to buy

Had our last steamers also a tefal for over 15 years had to get rid because the plastic bowls were cracking (and the model and replacement spares were long since discontinued. The new one is every bit as good and improves the expereince in several ways (packs down better in the cupboard, allows top up of the water level without having to lift off the containers. Excellent bit of kit

It’s a very good cooker and steams everything. Just leave some colouring even after after dishwashing

I received the with missing parts. It is said that there are 3 tier but when i open it, it has 2 tier only. I am disappointed, how can i exchange the product
