The Super Antenna MP1C is the upgraded model. The upgrades to the MP1C version include: Auto-Clutching SuperSlider, Insulated Stealth Black SuperSlider outer surface, elimination of the need for the thumb screw in portable/base operation, and slightly expanded tuning range around 28-30MHz (10 meter band) and 50-54MHz (6 meter band) . The older MP1B model is not in production anymore.

The Super Antenna model MP1C antenna packs down to 12" (30cm) for portability and extends up to 7ft (2.1m) for operation.

What is the minimum number of radials needed for reasonable functionality?
