Feature rich switch at a reasonable cost
The user interface makes it very easy to configure the switches to our needs.I deployed 25 of them through the office with no problems.I do wish it were possible to clone the configuration so as to reduce the setup time.

Perfect for my needs
Great little switch that suits my needs perfectly. Runs silent and the PoE works great. The web UI is decent enough to get the job done and intuitive enough to not have to read any documentation to figure it out. Love that it comes with a rack mount as well.

Excellent value!
It's hard to beat the value here. I haven't found any other gigabit managed switches with PoE anywhere near this price range that are worth owning, but this one is.It does work very well, and it's very reliable. The one complaint I have is that the VLAN setup wizard doesn't really do a complete job of configuring the VLAN capability -- it does set VLAN membership, but it doesn't set the VPID so you pretty much still have to go into the manual configuration pages to complete VLAN setup. It wouldn't be hard to set the VPID automatically, either -- just assume that when a port is added to a VLAN as Untagged that that VLAN should be used for the VPID.Build quality is excellent. It's all metal, and quite stout at that. All of the SFPs I've tried have worked flawlessly. PoE has worked exactly as it is supposed to. The one of these I've had for almost 2 years has never had to be rebooted. The only issue is the user interface. It's a little odd. There's one navigation tree for viewing the configuration, and an entirely separate tree for modifying the configuration, and it's easy to find yourself in the wrong one. It would be easier to use if there was a single navigation tree. But overall, this is a great product. It's highly recommended.

I bought the Fanless 10HP model to go with a TP-Link Gigabit Ethernet PoE Splitter Adapter (TL-PoE10R) and JacobsParts DC Barrel Jack to Micro-USB B Male Connector Adapter 5V Power Cable 5.5mm/2.1mm.This trio works great for powering Raspberry Pi or Pine64 boards. No more guessing games if the micro-PCs are getting the power they need. From the console. Stock Rpi 3 uses about 2300mw and I was able to boot with this device getting 5000mw from the PoE switch (I could probably tune it down more, but have not tried yet). I'm truly impressed with the full feature set I was not expecting for a switch in this price: 8 GB ports, 2 more GB Fiber uplinks, a full suite of port mirroring, spanning, QoS, VLAN tagging, ... you name it, enterprise layer 2 features!

I like Zyxel, quality products
I had 4 power bricks for POE devices(Yuk) 12 ports of POE and 12 standard ports, fairly easy setup. If you can setup your cable router thru its webpage, you can do this easily.

Wired up!
We needed a way to wire up new office with several ports. So far everything seems to be running smoothly.
